Dear Valued Clients and Beloved Furry Friends,

At Lucie’s Barkingham Palace we pride ourselves on maintaining the highest standards of care and safety for every pet that comes through our doors. We love all of our furry friends, and work hard to treat all of them as our own.

It is with this commitment in mind that we are requiring all owners to secure their pets as they enter and leave our facility with lead leashes, or leashes with collars/harnesses that fit the pet securely. The palace is always happy to help recommend proper equipment or assist in any way we can, to keep every pet safe! Max was surrendered to ACCT Philly in terrible condition and in desperate need of vet care. After being a loyal pet for 12+ years, we could not imagine his heartache and confusion ending up in such a scary place. We were thrilled to be able to give this special senior boy a safe place to go, and to provide him with the medical care he needed. Max has been nothing but amazingly sweet from the moment we met him. He's full of personality and promises to keep you entertained with his funny noises and demands for attention. Max is a laid-back, lovable old man who is happiest with his person. He loves sleeping at your feet, napping in the sun, going for car rides, and exploring in the yard. He gets along with everyone – dogs, cats, adults and kids alike. Max is housebroken, walks well on a leash, and blends in well wherever he goes. This guy is quite the catch and deserves the best in his golden years! Please help us find Max a family of his own to love him and spoil him rotten for the rest of his days!

All our dogs are microchipped, spayed/neutered, and up to date on vaccinations and preventatives.

Meet Madigan, the black Labrador with a heart as golden as the sun! Madigan is always wagging her tail and ready to shower everyone with love. Her laid-back nature makes her a favorite among the more relaxed daycare attendees. Whether she’s lounging in the shade or gently nudging for a belly rub, Madigan’s calm demeanor and affectionate personality makes her the perfect candidate for this week’s dog of the week! 💕🐾

Due to the higher volume of dogs boarding over the summer months we have decided to amend our Saturday daycare hours! Instead of our usual 8-5, we will now only be accepting daycare dogs between the hours of 9-3. With intent to better focus our attention and care on our furry friends boarding. After 09/08, we will be returning to our original daycare hours of 8-5! Thank you for your understanding, support, and continuing to your entrust us with the care of your fur babies!

Bori can best be described as absolute cuteness overload!! This little love bug is happiest being carried around like a baby, and giving hugs and kisses to all the palace staff! She’s always such a little bundle of joy, and has beyond earned the distinction of Dog of the Week!!! 🐩🐾

To our clients and furry pals,

In an effort to continue to provide top quality service, comply with pre established industry standards, and continue to protect your furry friends while they are with us, the palace will be instituting a mandatory vaccine policy for the Bordetella (kennel cough) vaccine beginning Monday July 1st! While we understand that some clients may not usually have this vaccine administered to their pets, this vaccine is crucial for protecting from and preventing the spread of kennel cough in facilities like ours, where exposure to many different animals in a close proximity happens. While we take steps to contain any spread of infections such as using air purifiers, and committing to consistent cleaning and disinfecting practices; Kennel Cough is an air-born infection, making the potential spread in facilities like ours more likely than most places.

Please always remember to keep an eye on your pets and get to the vet asap if you suspect symptoms of kennel cough (such as those shown above), and feel free to reach out anytime with questions or concerns!

He has become one of the biggest success stories of the socialization program here at the Palace, having been incredibly shy when he first came to us.
