Celebrating Success! Muffin’s Story It was almost one year ago when Muffin started Enrichment sessions. Muffin is a sweet and sensitive girl. During the evaluation Muffin showed signs of being easily overwhelmed by things in the environment. Muffin would worry about outside noises from the trucks and cars going by. A big trigger for Muffin was the ceiling fan in the training room. It was many months that Muffin would not venture near or under the ceiling fan. Some of Muffin’s reactions to these situations were trembling and if completely overwhelmed not wanting to move. There are many layers in this training process that supported Muffin helping her to grow and to gain confidence. Muffin now searches methodically throughout the training room even with the ceiling fan on. Muffin is a joy to work with and I love watching her independence continue to blossom. Michele
