Attention Deer Hunters!!!!!!

Saturday November 2nd 2024 is Santa’s Helping Hands auction at Edmonson Co.High School. I am donating a whitetail shoulder mount valued at $650. But most importantly you will receive express return. Every one knows I stay far behind but whoever buys this mount goes straight to front of the line and I start on it immediately. Should have it back in a 2-3 months!! I’m filling up fast and this guarantees you a spot . Please come out and support this great cause. I’d love to see it bring at least what I charge but more is the goal!!

Took in this nice 10 pt yesterday . It was a young boy named Owen Ritter’s first deer . I wish everyone could be like him!!!! He was so excited when he brought it. Trying to pick out a form, telling the story, the harvest video the whole experience, he was just beside himself. That’s what hunting is all about. The experience the camaraderie the excitement. It’s gotten to the point hunters have taken the fun out of it. I’m sick of hearing what’s it score or it needed another year. Jealousy has gotten ridiculous . Friends get mad if one kills a bigger deer. They cut each others throats talk about them , spread rumors then try to go lease their spot. They let it completely consume them . We could all learn a lot watching kids sometimes . They just have fun and make memories . We adults need to get back to that. Congratulations Owen. You’re being raised right!!! Can’t wait to see your excitement when you pick it up.
