Gus started his due to reactivity to dogs and people. Be has been a good boy for dad but only allowed mom to do things he wanted, and if she tried to make him do something he wasn't interested in, he became feral!

During his first few days, we found that he was really an unsure dog who chose to fight instead of flight. We have built up his confidence and worked on exposing him to as many of his triggers as possible. Here, we are at the auto shop waiting for the car to be done with all the ins and outs of customers with some tighter spaces. AND he has to get over being so close to another dog for longer than a few seconds. 😯 Don't worry, Rain is a trainer's dog who loves helping other dogs in their training journey.

He has done amazing over the past 2 weeks! 🐾💪 We look forward to taking him home tomorrow to teach his how to continue working with him. 😉

Our clients, both people and dogs, become part of our SMS Pack Family. Christine was informed that this family was having to relocate, we had to do a see you later visit. It is never goodbye as we will stay in touch, but it is always hard seeing someone move away. Ali took ALL the loves she could and Zara made sure she got the good loves too.

We have another graduation of a pup and a very happy 🥰 Astro was a pretty good dog overall but needed to learn manners to make life together even more enjoyable. We worked on leash manners, keeping a level head around other dogs, his over excitement, and to just relax.

This, not even, 5mo is on her way to amazing things in life. She is on her 3rd and last day of her program and has gone from a crazy puppy to one that is well-mannered even out in public. Don't get us wrong, she is still puppy, and will make bad choices, BUT her know how to help guide her for the rest of her life. I see lots of adventures in her future 🥰🐾💪

Does your dog not know how to just relax? Are they a crazy puppy, a high-energy/drive dog, always in work mode, to name a few reasons? All these pups are different breeds, at different ages, and have different struggles, but none knew how to just relax with things going on around them. Lilo & Valkyrie, Belgian Malinois 1.5yr and Siberian Husky 2yrs, are moving into group class after graduating their 🐾💪 These two had gone through another board and train program with another company but their weren't happy with where the dogs were at. We talked in detail during their evaluation and discussed where they were at now and what they wanted after training. Lilo is working line Malinois and needed true structure and wants to do the right thing but needs you to guide her. Valkyrie also enjoys the structure but really just wants to please you.

Just because they have graduated doesn't mean they are done with training. We still have a YEAR of group classes to fine-tune anything that needs it. These dads are so happy with the results, and someone might be showing off a little bit as we left with his well-behaved pups 😍

Have dogs, will shop! These two were out on the town and while we were out training, we stopped to do some shopping. They did so well throughout the store and this was the topping on the cake, waiting patiently during checkout!

One struggles with puppy ADHD and excitement, while the other struggles with unsureness. However, those struggles are becoming less and less during their time with us as we build their focus and attention 🐾💪

Maui showed drastic improvements after coming home from his board and train. At their follow-up lesson, we addressed the last few struggles, showed them their off leash capabilities, and went over their next stage, group class! They said it was like a while new dog that no longer lunges at other dogs or people, nuisance barking, reactivity and overall fear. He is a much more confident dog that just wants to please his people 🥰

Just a reminder about the Dog Days of Fall event tomorrow at Ono Brewing. Bring the dogs and bring the family for a fun-filled day. We've received a lot of interest in this event so we are recommending bringing lawn chairs in case all of our outdoor seating is full. (Only service animals are allowed indoors). We will have some open areas under a big tent and an area in the parking lot for additional seating with chairs. Doggie costume contest is at 2pm!!
Join us for a fun dog-friendly, family-friendly fundraising event featuring three local animal rescues with adoptable dogs, a pet costume contest, dog training demos, "Ask a Vet" table with local veterinarian, mobile nail trimming, a pet photographer taking photos, pet vendors with treats/merchandise, and more!!

These two have finished their training program, but life happens, and their parents wanted a refresher to tighten up their pups' training. Both had struggles based on levels of distractions, so getting them out in the real world helps proof the training.

Almost 4mo old Luna is ready for her program! Her family started with our Puppy Primer program to help them with the new/early puppyness stage! And to help start the foundation of obedience!
