After spending far too long waiting for her perfect match, Dawn was finally adopted! This sweet girl never gave up hope, and today, she left the Animal Services Center with the cutest grin on her face. 😄

Meet Hugo! This magnificent Mastiff-mix is 4 years old and has a heart as big as his head. At 114lbs, he is a gentle giant and his favorite pastime is going for leisurely strolls on our nature trails. Hugo is very attentive and loyal; he has the great habit of turning around to check-in with you while you're out walking together. He's just a sweet, easy-going guy who is truly happiest when he's with his person. His previous owner says that has gotten along well with children and other dogs, but sometimes he gets nervous around new people. Hugo would likely thrive in a quiet home with someone patient and understanding who can help build his confidence. If this sounds like you, ask to meet handsome Hugo today!

Meet Trumpet! True to his name, Trumpet is a loud and proud, happy hound who came into our care as a stray and we estimate that he is about 5 years old. This adorable floppy-eared pup loves nothing more than following his nose wherever it leads him. If there's a scent trail, you can bet Trumpet is on the case! He thrives on adventure and would be a perfect match for an active home who enjoys long walks, hiking, or really any time spent outdoors. Volunteers and staff say Trumpet walks well on a leash, seems to be housetrained, and loves spending time with his human buddies. If you're looking for a handsome hound to become your loyal companion, Mr. Trumpet would be so happy to meet you!

It’s not only dogs that require special attention; even the tiniest creatures deserve extra love and support. This stray kitten arrived with injuries to both of her eyes. Since being in our care, she has undergone surgery on one eye and will need follow-up treatment for the other. Many people often wonder if a cat or kitten can coexist with dogs. We can confidently say that little Aria Mia gets along well with dogs, as demonstrated during her recovery at Caring Hands Vet. Come by and meet Aria Mia—she's eager to find her forever home today!

Dawn is a such a wonderful dog that anyone would be lucky to add to their home. At 2 years old her crazy puppy days are far behind her. She is so well mannered and a polite petite lady. She walks well on leash and enjoys a nice stroll through her neighborhood. Dawn loves to meet new people and is always up for belly rubs. Though out of all of her activities she enjoys, by far her favorite past time is fetch. She is a pro at fetch with a ball and will gently drop it back at her peoples feet. Dawn is a calm girl who would like to live in a home that is as calm and quiet as she is. She would prefer to be in a forever home where she is the only pet. Dawn would like a life with adults and older children only. This lady is the whole package of well behaved and smart. Are you interested in adopting Dawn? Ask staff to visit with her today.

When he's not busy being incredibly handsome, Desperado loves to run around and play with his favorite humans. He's an outgoing and friendly pup, and he's always up for a good time. He's a clever boy who is good with other dogs, too, so he'll fit right in with your pack. He is a lot of happy and bouncy love so we do not recommend he live with small children. Dawn is a gentle, lovable, playful tomboy with her favorite accessory being a tennis ball! Dawn loves a ball and is pretty cute and overly polite when she plays with it. She brings it back and drops it every time and frequently uses her front paws to control it.
Estimated to be around 2 yrs old and with a disposition as sweet as her brown-sugar coat, Dawn has already mastered several skills at her young age. She’s an expert-level fetcher, a champion at tug of war, the best backyard varmint chaser, and an accomplished couch companion! Dawn has been blessed with what you might describe as a “resting worried face”, but don’t let that fool you. She is up for most anything and gracious making new friends. Dawn wants to be where the people are and she is very helpful! She is always doing her best to please, watching constantly with those sweet, soulful eyes to make sure she doing things right. Despite being soooo incredibly gentle, Dawn prefers to be the only pet and may be unsure around young kids, so we are hoping to find a family that doesn’t have kids younger than 10 or 12. Dawn is house trained, crate trained, clean and quiet. She is very easy to live with, and fun to be around.
