Today we were doing some rearranging of the dog rooms and a coworker asked “who’s a chill, very happy boy who doesn’t care about the noise or dogs around him?”. Immediately I thought of Bullet. Even after living at our services center for 159 days and having two eye surgeries he was still the happiest dog here. He was just glad to be with people and share his love.

Fast forward to a few hours later when a man who is a Veteran came in to look at a few dogs. He was looking for a dog to become his emotional support dog but he has never owned a dog. There were several dogs that caught his eye but many of them needed a fair amount of training. That's when I thought of Bullet. He was phased by nothing and always kept everyone smiling.

Bullet put on his charm and the man fell in love! We all knew that Bullet was meant for something special and today he found it! He went home with his new dad today and we are all so happy for them both.

Meet Coco! This sweet, affectionate 8-year-old pup has a heart full of love to share. Coco is the perfect companion for anyone looking for a calm, easy-going friend to keep them company. She is a laid-back lady who enjoys the simple pleasures in life— like snuggling up on the couch and chasing after her favorite tennis ball. She is also crate-trained, house-broken, and has excellent leash manners; she's as move-in ready as it gets! Come meet this gentle soul and you'll see why we're all so in love with her.

Meet Hugo! This magnificent Mastiff-mix is 4 years old and has a heart as big as his head. At 114lbs, he is a gentle giant and his favorite pastime is going for leisurely strolls on our nature trails. Hugo is very attentive and loyal; he has the great habit of turning around to check-in with you while you're out walking together. He's just a sweet, easy-going guy who is truly happiest when he's with his person. His previous owner says that has gotten along well with children and other dogs, but sometimes he gets nervous around new people. Hugo would likely thrive in a quiet home with someone patient and understanding who can help build his confidence. If this sounds like you, ask to meet handsome Hugo today!

Meet Autumn! This adorable pumpkin spice girl is about 2 years old and she's the perfect companion for cozy fall days. Autumn is loving, affectionate, and she greets our volunteers and staff every day with fantastic full body wiggles. She's never met a stranger and thinks that everyone she meets are her best friends. Her previous owners describe her as loyal, well-mannered, snuggly, and an overall great dog! The perfect way to wrap up the week? With a sprinkle of joy! This fabulous couple swung by today, bringing a donation and a whole lot of love. While they were here, they couldn’t resist checking out the pups and instantly fell head over heels for Lucky and Oreo! Lucky, our wise 13-year-old blind Toy Poodle, and Oreo, the charming 11-year-old Shih Tzu, may not have arrived at the center together, but once they met, it was like peanut butter and jelly! November is National Senior Pet Month, and this couple is ready to open their hearts and home to these golden oldies, ensuring they spend their golden years snuggled up together in their cozy home! 🐾❤️

LOOKING for an experience dog owner. This is Ryder a 2year-old Dogo Argentino. What is a Dogo Argentino? The Dogo Argentino’s powerful athleticism is on full display with his large, sleek, muscular body that’s just slightly longer than it is tall. He’s easily recognized by his short, snow white elastic-like coat and prized for his keen scent ability and explosive agility and energy. His broad, domed head, supported by a thick neck and deep chest, is accented by a striking muzzle and alert, intelligent expression.
Ryder does have allergies to poultry and would do much better in a home with experienced dog owners and older children.

Zeus is a big ol' lovable 4 year old lab mix, who is very good on leash. He loves taking in all the sniffs on his daily trail walks. He also enjoys a bit of fetch in the play-yard but tuckers out fairly quickly and is happy as can be finding a good spot in the shade. Look out for the sneaky kisses and snuggles. He loves to show his happiness by giving his people a good old- fashioned face bath.

Meet Marty! There are so many amazing things to say about this sweet 7-year-old boy. The best thing about Marty is his happy demeanor and wonderful smile. He is a well-mannered boxer mix, that is house trained and knows his basic commands. He loves spending time with people outside and would have a couch to sleep on. Marty is a wonderful adult dog that still loves to walk, run and play with his people. He is well behaved, with his crazy puppy years behind him.

We've been caring for these sheep for 2 months now, please share this information, and help us get them on a farm to live and roam.
They are Hair Sheep which work very well in a variety of production situations as a low-maintenance, easy care sheep. They provide a practical option to producers primarily interested in raising an animal with great lamb vigor, high fertility/prolificacy, good mothering ability and don’t want to shear.

Shy goofball Rex went home this weekend. He made some amazing new best friends that he can now call family. He has 3 siblings and a dad that are going to love him forever! As happy as you see this guy in these pictures he tends to be nervous when meeting new people. This family took the time to get to know him and even visited with him more than once before they knew it was true love. It goes to show that there is a perfect family out there for every animal. Some just have to look a little longer than others before they find the right hearts to trust.
