For those who want to contribute dog food to families in NC recovering from the hurricanes, Carolina Emergency Response Team has a link to order and ship. Thank you!

Our team is working on a return trip to Western North Carolina now. We have included our Amazon wish list link for items we need. We also need Propane and Firewood as well as the items on the wish list.

Propane and Dog food are the top two items they requested.

The people of WNC need propane and firewood. So if you have empty or full "good up to date" tanks and would like to donate we will put them to good use.

If you need pet food Prince William County Animal Services Bureau is having a free event.

If you have the means to donate, please do. Our community members need us and we want to keep their families together especially in hard times.

If you, or somebody you know, are in need of food for your dog or cat, please come by on Saturday December 21 between 10:30am-2pm.
If you would like to support our efforts and donate food or supplies, please contact [email protected] or drop off donations any time.
NOTE – for this event we are especially in need of dry cat food, any brand any size bag.

We are starting off Thanksgiving week with gratitude and appreciation to all who helped make our first annual Pet Supply Donation Drive a HUGE success. Jacqueline Smith, Clerk of Circuit Court’s team partnered with Prince William County Bar Associationfor a months long campaign to collect donations across PW County. Prince William County Sheriff's Office Prince William County Police Department Prince William Public Libraries all helped us collect thousands of dollars worth of much needed food, treats, collars, leashes, bowls, toys, bedding, clothing, cleaning supplies etc.
We were able to give donations to City of Manassas Animal Control and Shelter, Prince William County Animal Services Bureau and the SERVE food pantry. We met some of the sweetest pups, cats and even a rabbit available for adoption.
Thank you for helping us help these local shelters and if you know anyone who needs help caring for their pets, please let them know there is food available for free at these locations. Can’t wait for next year!

Hey Buddies, animal lovers, kind hearts, those who save, and those who help in many other ways,
The next two days are Amazon Prime Specials Days (7/16-17), Target Circle (7/13-7/20) and Walmart RollBack for the next few weeks…. Online shoppers paradise.
If you can, please send or get even just one item for a local shelter or rescue. Something needed but so simple like a treat bag, leash, collar, bed, cleaning products, laundry detergent, towels, birdseed, kitten formula, blankets, litter boxes, bowls, cages, turtle food, nail clippers, toys. Anything will help as every foster, shelter, rescue, etc is running on fumes and over capacity.

Surrenders and abandonments are at an all time high and adoptions and fosters are at the lowest point over the past decade. It’s heartbreaking.
This is your time to shine and be an animal advocate 🤞🏼🤍.

Changing this up a little. As she enters her twilight I have been dedicated to making sure she has experiences and adventures as well as lots of family time, peaceful times, love and of course treats. So we are pivoting and these posts will be her bucket list photos. She’s had a remarkable life and it will end with her knowing only good times.
For Fourth of July, she went swimming, to the beach, rode around in her new jeep, ate lots of crab legs, slept by the pool and had so much love. 🇺🇸

Heartbreaking loss for our rescue community. Unimaginable loss for their family and the dogs lost in the fire.
If you have even $1 please consider donating it. Praying for their family and the two remaining dogs at the ER and one missing.

💔🙏🏼🕊️ It is with a BROKEN HEART & many tears we write this post. 🌈🕊️🙏🏼

😮‍💨 Our dear friends Jessica & Brad; the founders of Margaret’s Saving Grace Bully Rescue suffered a devastating house fire last night. They lost their home, 4 dogs (Including Margaret the entire REASON behind MSGBR) & two other dogs are at the Emergency Vet🙏🏼

Jessica loves her dogs so much she stayed in the burning house with them even after her husband left. 😭 She didn’t want to leave them. She wanted to go with them. 💔 At the last minute her husband & the FD were able to get her to jump out of the second story window; but sadly she had to leave them behind. 🕊️🌈

One of their dogs is unaccounted for & is presumed to have escaped the house. We are using donations from Zeus to pay it forward and we have called out Joshua with Precision Drone Services - Deer Recovery and Lost Pet Search and Rescue. He will be arriving this evening to help search. 🙏🏼🤞🏻

I know we have been asking for a lot lately - but we need; actually we are BEGGING OUR VILLAGE to come TOGETHER for MSGBR!🙏🏼
