A very special Thank You to Katerina Pleickhardt!! Yesterday she came by to work with Mr Chaos and it was the fastest he has ever settled with a new person! He wa taking treats from her hand rather quickly and gave her great sniffs...Has to be how calm she is and her "Dog Sense"! Can't wait to see the progress as we go forward.

I saw my surgeon for the last follow up! I have 4 weeks of PT (Once a week now) and then I am done!! He cautioned me to be careful for the next 2-3 months as the tendons are still in the healing mode. YAY!!!

Finally got Gator, Dutchie and Chaos bathed today! Not a fun adventure but Chaos and Dutchie did fairly well...Gator, well, he hates baths!

Had my second follow up with my surgeon and he is happy with my progress. He still wants me to limit certain movements to give more time for my rotator cuff and tendons to heal.

I had a slight setback with PT...tried too much too fast. Back to range of motion and some resistance bands, Rotator Cuff recovery is no fun!

Today at PT I started working with weights to start rebuilding strength! Hurts some but I am happy that I am moving forward! Next week I do a follow up with my surgeon.

I had my 1 month follow up with my surgeon today and I am now free of the sling!! I can't lift anything heavier than a cup of coffee and the long term plan is in about 5 months, maybe I will be able to handle dogs...DANG!
