Today Dutchie and Gator had their bath! I figure I will do their nails later because they don't like either one...I try to spread out the traumatic experiences for them 😂🤣

I'm very excited to announce that Kellenberger kennels and proper manners will be starting the next set of AKC CGC out and about classes on May 10th at 9:00 a.m. this is a 6-week course and we have a lot of fun! If you are interested in joining in, Let me know via text or direct message.

The devils in the details; some dogs window of expression is short, some very short, and even some that have seemly none.
Respectful retreat is a good skill, many dogs will show avoidance behavior in anyway that works.
Learn to listen, watch for these warnings

Kellenberger Kennels - Helping All breeds of Dogs

At Kellenberger Kennels, we offer boarding of all dogs by appointment only. Each dog will have play time (weather/temperature permitting), individual kennels, socialization if requested and prompt drop off/pick up. Text us when you are coming to drop off or pick up and we will be waiting for you!!!

For training we teach the standardized AKC Classes and offer basic behavior modification, but we do not have a cookie cutter teaching technique! We customize the training to each dog and each handler to help not only to learn the commands and behavior, but to help build a bond between the owners and their beloved pup! We stress positive reinforcement, consistency, and setting the pup up for success. Not all dogs respond the same to all rewards, whether it is a treat, affection, or toy. Building a relationship with the dog is based on respect, boundaries, rules and love. We also recommend everyone read “Nothing in Life is for Free” as this is the basis of our methods.

We love dogs! We love working with them and their owners and believe that every dog can learn, just at different paces. We also educate the owners about basic dog body language, emotions and misconceptions.

Dogs are the center of our life! Once you experience the true bond between you and your dog, it is life changing!
