Full Send Working Dogs is having a training day with Dave Santiago of Bad Company Working Dogs, Friday April 25th at 9am at Versatile K9 227 Progress Drive, Manchester CT. This will be a great opportunity for trial prep, and personal protection training including vehicle based scenarios! Come join us for the day! $150/dog

Does flooring really make a difference?
We think so!!! When we moved into our space a few years back we knew we didn't want to just epoxy the floors. We wanted more for our dogs, for YOUR dogs. So we did our due diligence and looked at multiple companies and got numerous samples. Spent time poking those samples with forks to see if they would hold up to dogs nails. Then when we narrowed it down to a couple companies, we looked into who was the most popular and why? Who would be the best to help against ACL tears, iliopsoas pulls, shoulder injuries and other common injuries. That's how we ended up with the flooring we have. The same flooring alot of gyms have to help with reducing stress on joints. Other big plus, its super easy to clean and disinfect! Slippery floors are never ideal for your pet to be on day in and day out. So look for a place thats invested into maintaining your dogs body just as much as their mind!!

Meet Leek, hes a yr old intact rotti looking for a family of his own! He's a big boy 107 pounds. But good with dogs, cats, and kids. We don't have Leek but wanted to get him posted here so people can see him and meet him if they want to! All of you guys demand more content!! We are trying to keep it coming! Here are a few projects we currently have here at VK9 in conjunction with Robert Johnson. Together, we plan to build some of the finest working dogs the New England area has to offer!

Groot - 9mo. Male German Shepherd (top) from our Barracuda/Ammo litter, is being trained for police and will be actively looking for a department very soon!

Maple - 5mo. Female German Shepherd (left) is in training to become a Personal Protection Dog (PPD) for a client

Jericho - 10wks. Male Dutch Shepherd (right) is a police/sport/personal protection prospect.

Due to popular demand! VK9 and Serena Ivanovskis is running another 6 week intro to Nose Work class starting Saturday at 10am! We will focus on AKC scent work/UKC nose work odors for competition or for fun, working interior, exterior, vehicles, and boxes! This class will start April 5th. The course is $200.

TGIF!!!

When there is a big box waiting for me at the front door.. well it’s never for me…. Lol! It’s mostly Chewy or Bark Box, but last night it was a giant moose antler from our friends at Allagash Antlers! Moose antlers have become a favorite chew for dogs! They are great because they are softer than other antlers or bones. Hard chewing can cause slab fractures to your dogs teeth, so we typically stay away from marrow bones and deer antlers for our dogs. Cody, our Black Russian Terrie (BRT) is going to have to share this thing with all the others!
