🐾 Pet Safety Reminder — One of Those Things You Don’t Think About 🐾

Over the weekend while doing check-ins, one of my pups started acting a little off — pawing at her mouth, opening and closing it, just clearly uncomfortable.

When I checked her mouth, she had a piece of a gnat plug-in stuck in the back of her jaw.
Not something most people notice — and honestly, not something I had ever really thought about either.

A lot of dogs will chew when they get anxious, bored, or stressed — especially when their routine changes or their people are away. Sometimes that means grabbing whatever’s nearby: toys… socks… cords… or in this case, a bug plug-in.

Thankfully, I was there and able to remove it safely — and she went right back to being her happy little self. ❤️

This isn’t to scare anyone — just a gentle reminder:

➡️ Small objects
➡️ Plug-ins and air fresheners
➡️ Loose plastic pieces
➡️ Anything chewable

…can turn into a hazard quicker than we realize.

Having someone stop in doesn’t just give pets potty breaks — it gives them comfort, attention, and just a little bit of normal. And sometimes… it catches something important.
