We have several horses and one pony available for lease! Several are available for creative leases : part lease , some have lease to own options, and school horses have a month- to-month opportunity to enable the experience of leasing without a big commitment .

In the spotlight today is “JJ” . He id a 6 year old TB gelding standing 17 hands . He is calm beyond his years and has big rhythmical gaits like a WB. Although he has some shows experience, his owner is looking for a leasee that can work with him and one of our farm trainers to continue his development and showing experience. Thank you to Mystic Valley Hunt Club and Sally Hinkle Russell for sharing thier facility this past weekend. Some of our riders had a fun off property lesson here. We enjoyed the quality footing, well designed courses and the beautiful trails and fields !

Full Circle had two weeks of great showing at HITS Saugerties IV and V. Hijack and Legerdemain picked up ribbons in the 1.20 amd 1.15 , respectively . Miles Skurkis and his King Cavalier shows in the .90 and also moved up to the 1m . The pair earned results in very large classes but most importantly they gained experience around challenging courses as well as watching the upper level jumpers prepare and compete.

We would also like to give a big congratulations for our friends Flugel Der Freight owned by Lionshare Jumps ridden by Peter Leone for second place finishes in the STX Open Speed stake both weeks. It’s a thrill to watch them compete!

Congratulations to our riders who showed at the Westbrook show two weekends ago. Sarah Botthof and Bronx Balou has great rounds over the challenging modified equitation course. Natalie Reinhardt and Chance of a Lifetime earned the top spot in the equitation flat class as well as placing over fences.
Miles Skurkis and King Cavalier debuted in the junior equitation division with a 2nd place finish and other placings.
We had some team bonding in the rain and our horses were great with the soaked rings ! Nice job team!

We would like to say “ Fare Thee Well” to Emilie McCann as she heads off to veterinary school at Iowa State. Emilie has been with us for over 2 years as a working student and also as a staff member. She is an amazing individual who cared for all of the horses and took meticulous care of them. We will miss her dearly but are so very proud of her, however, glad she will stay with horses with her veterinary studies.
Needless to say we now have an open opportunity for a working student. A certain level of horse experience is required but most importantly honesty, work ethic and a desire to learn is most important. You will learn knowledge here that is not taught in lesson programs or as a client at a barn. No need to ride well, we will teach you! Interested ? Contact Kristen 860.798.7249

We had a fun show at the 5A Baker Charity this past week . Natalie Reinhardt and Chance of a Lifetime earned reserve champion in the modified adult equitation Chance and Kristen also managed a championship in the USHJA hunters. Arianna Alvarez and Vincenzo had great rounds in the Amatuer jumpers with ribbons in each class . Miles Skurkis and King Cavalier performed well the first time on the grass and earned two firsts and a fifth in the .80 and junior jumper classes. Looking forward to an enjoyable summer show season!

We had a great show at HITS Saugerties I . Hijack won a 1.15m. Our friends Anna Crosby and her Kentucky Balia joined us for this show . They had great rounds in their 1.10 Amateur classes and a solid round in the technical and competitive 1.15 Classic!
We got to visit with our sales graduate Flugel Der Freiheit ( Louis) and watch him and Peter Leone easily take 2nd in the STX Open Speed Stake. Always a gem to get to watch perfection!
The new HITS grounds has improved immensely and is definitely a place to be this Summer!

We had a great show at Old Salem Farm Welcome weekend last week. Miles Skurkis and his King Cavalier won a class and earned top three placings in the .80s and .90s. Natalie Reinhardt and Chance of a Lifetime also earned top spots in the Salem hunters. Thanks to Kayla Fillion and Emilie McCann for all your help!

We had some fun past weeks at Princeton Showjumping getting outside showing and in gear for the Summer show season! Miles Skurkis’s King Cavalier came along and posted great rounds in the big ring earning some prizes. Hijack stepped out for some fun and earned a first in a practice class for him 🙂 Greyscale owned by Jennifer Dehay won a 1m class and also a reserve champion the TB Jumpers for his debut in the big ring. We all had a productive show and look forward to the next !

Congratulations to Ariana Alvarez and her Vincenzo at last weeks Old Salem Farm show . The pair won a a class and also Reserve Champion winter Series for the Adult/ Child jumper division. Abby Wiersma and Hidana M had lovely rounds and placed in the .80s and .90s, looking like a seasoned pair even trying the inside turns!

We had a super fun show at Old Salem last week . The new team of Cara Bailey and Hidana M easily answered the questions of the courses like a seasoned pair to earn ribbons in the .80s and .90s! Arianna Alvarez and Vincenzo won their Amatuer Jumper class with an accurate and speedy jump off !
Legerdemain and Kristen G continued their training over the 1.20 courses nicely earning 1st and 2nd. Thank you to Natalie Reinhardt for your support at the show and Emilie McCann and Abby Wiersma for keeping my horses going at home .

A belated congratulations to Mikes Skurkis amd Arianna Valois on a great Old Salem Farm show . Miles coming back from a long hiatus to produce several wonderful jumper rounds with his mount, King Cavalier . The pair also earned 3rds ands 2nd in the .80 and .90 classes.

This past weekend some of us at Full Circle were thrilled to experience an “Elevate” Workshop with Kim of Partners in Performance

This included some educational classroom time alongside some evaluations based around balance, proprioception, and posture. We will use the classroom experience combined with their evals to work one on one with each rider under saddle in the near future for some transformative results
