Fair season is right around the corner! All Creatures will once again be helping out at the Warren County A&L Fair's dog show. The show is open to all Warren County residents or All Creatures clients. We'll have classes for all ages and skill levels with ribbons and prizes for our winners. Come by and see us Saturday September 14th at 8am!

We would like to shout a big thanks to Merck Animal Health and our rep Claire for treating our staff to a day at the ballpark yesterday! We had a great time relaxing and cheering on the Lookouts as they beat the Trash Pandas. Our staff loves any chance they can get to hang out outside the clinic and build on the relationships that make our team so amazing!

Meet Addy! Addy is a 9 month old pug who was diagnosed with Brachycephalic Obstructive Airway Syndrome which made it difficult for her to breath normally. In June Addy came in for a very special surgery with Dr. Gordon using our new CO2 surgical laser. Dr. Gordon was able to successfully remove a small amount of tissue from each nostril to allow improved airflow and easier breathing for little Addy. Addy's owner is happy to report that she is able breathe a lot easier now and her snoring isn't keeping her up anymore. If you think your brachycephalic dog could benefit from this surgery please call any of our 4 locations to schedule a consultation with one of our vets!

This is your friendly reminder that now is the time to contact us if your pet needs some anxiety meds for the upcoming 4th of July holiday! If your pet is up to date on their yearly exams and has been on anxiety medication in the past you can call and ask for a refill. If they aren't up to date or have never been on medication for anxiety you will need to schedule a consultation with one of our veterinarians. Please keep in mind that during this busy time of year wellness and behavioral exams can often be booked up a week or more out. It is best not to wait until the week of the holiday to try and get in!

Today we say "CONGRATULATIONS!!" to another member of the All Creatures family. Kenley was recently accepted into Lincoln Memorial University College of Veterinary Medicine and will begin her journey to become a veterinarian this fall. Kenley started with us in 2019 and has been a cheerful and hardworking assistant at our Manchester and Morrison offices ever since. We are so very proud of Kenley and all that she has accomplished. We know she is going to do incredible things and we can't wait to see what her future holds!

Shouting a big "CONGRATULATIONS!" to two of our All Creatures family. Mia and Shaylee graduated from Warren County and Grundy County high schools this past week. Both girls have been stellar members of our team and are planning to pursue a career in veterinary medicine. We are so proud of them both and can't wait to see what the future has in store for them!
