Valued clients,

We at the Veterinary Standard are committed to providing you the best possible service and healthcare to your animals. In light of the recent pandemic, we are modifying our operations to hopefully minimize our exposure to Covid19, and be socially responsible.
If our staff becomes infected and quarantined that will greatly impact our ability to provide service for your urgent medical needs. We also have families and a pregnant staff member to protect.
We are also being asked by the State to conserve medical supplies until this crisis is under control.

1. The office will be closed to the public.

For Dispensables: You may call the office, we will take credit card info and leave them in the breezeway by parking lot for pickup anytime.
For urgent care: please call the office as usual, we will take payment info and respond quickly without vets having to handle cash/checks/card.

2. If you or anyone in your household is sick or recently been sick (within the last 2 weeks) please cancel your appointment or arrange for healthy help to be present for our assistance

3. Please limit our exposure by having only 1 person at each locale assisting us. We need to limit our exposure to Covid19 by decreasing the number of people we come in contact with each day while treating your animals.

4. There is no rush on Coggins since all shows are cancelled for the foreseeable future, and it is best to consider spring vaccinating towards the end of April into May anyways. If it is urgent, or for interstate or sale we will get it done in a timely manner. Castrations and Dehorns can easily be done later also.

5. As medical professionals we understand the necessity to slow down the infection rate in our community to decrease the stress on the Healthcare System. We also don’t want to risk bringing the Coronanvirus to you unknowingly during a visit.

Thank you for your understanding and for your efforts to socially distance yourself as we all struggle to get through this as a community. It is similar to what Dental, Eye, Small Animal Vets, and other healthcare professionals have been forced to do.

We only want to insure that we will be able to provide you the animal care you need without interruption

YOU ARE ALL THE BEST!
Stay Healthy

Please call if you need us, WE ARE HERE TO HELP YOU AND YOUR ANIMALS! We are also always available for phone consults anytime
