The credit card processing online is down again. Random card testing. Heartland shut it down again. I can’t figure out how this could happen with recaptcha. Makes no sense. Place orders cash or check and if you want to prepay just call the shop. We are working on it. Sorry for any inconvenience. It’s driving me nuts!

Hi Everyone!

We have a bunch of whole turkeys we will be processing in 2 and 5 lb chubs. It will be a nice meat, bone and organ ratio at 80-10-10. This is will be on a special trial price for $23 per 5lb chub. USDA

We have some oxtails. $4.00 a lb. It will be about 12 to 15 inches long. USDA. We only have about 20 of these.

26 lb whole cases of sardines. $105
They are frozen. A really nice source of omegas and trace minerals. The box breaks up frozen very easily to grab just one or a few or pack and freeze. USDA

Hi everyone!
I have a few very important dr appts this week so today, we will be closed from noon to 2/2:30 and Thurs I have to be in Lebanon NH for several appts…the first begins at 6:30am the last begins at 11:30 am. It’s 1 hr 45 min away and I wouldn’t feel right asking someone else to drive me at that hour so with that said, Thursday we won’t open till 3 pm and will be open till 8 pm.
Sorry for any inconveniences. Once I get the jp drain, nephrostomy tube and PICC LINE out, I can get back to work in some capacity. I hope all 3 come out Thursday.
Thanks everyone for bearing with us in this very trying time. It means a lot.

UPDATE: Just got the rug pulled out from underneath me! After they had me call Chuck (2 hours away) and he was already here…they changed their minds! FML!
I’m going home with a pic line. I have to infuse iv antibiotics every 8 hours. Obviously with most of my fingers cut off to nubs… my dexterity isn’t great so he doesn’t feel he can send me home with this antibiotic. Grrrr. I’m not happy to say the least.

Hi everyone!
 I know many of you have asked for updates from me or Chuck so I just wanted to post the latest as of today. My kidney is not healing so they are sending me to a tertiary facility which is more than likely mass general in Boston. I think that will be my saving grace so that I can get through this and get onto rehab as the kidney thing is the only thing that is barring me from rehab right now.
I still have a long way to go, but I’m on this ride and I’m gonna see to it that I get to the other end .
Thank you again for all your love and support and prayers, and a few of you have visited others have sent flowers. It warms my heart more than you know to know that my customers are not just my customers, we are friends if not a big giant family.

I’m so sorry for the delay but again being in the hospital and not having any fingers anymore and having to have OT teach me how to adapt with my phone eating you know the general dailychores in life has been quite the road. Hi Everyone
I am posting this to let everyone know that I am still in the hospital and will be here for another 5+ weeks. If you need anything the best way to get a hold of anyone is to call the shop at 603-854-8124 or call Chuck cell at 978-590-7900. He doesn’t have access to Business Suite as it’s on my phone. I will try to check and answer that but it’s very difficult for me right now, I came into the hospital on December 1 for a routine kidney stone removal. But ended up with some serious complications and almost died on December 3. It was touch and go for about 15 days from then, but I’m on the mend unfortunately not without some serious losses. Chuck is doing the best he can at the shop, so please bear with him. It’s been a very difficult road. Thank you all for your understanding. I’ll be back as soon as I can. After this comes rehab.

Crazy unexpected turn in events today. Massive kidney stone blocking my left kidney. Surgery 2moro. If you can bear with me and give me an extra day to process pick up orders that would help a lot. Ugh! Things are never easy.

Hey Everyone!

I was just here working and brain-storming (more like brain fog these days…LOL)

Anyway, I thought it would be a great idea to have you put your cell phone numbers in the delivery truck phone so Ryan or whoever is delivering can reach you or text you if he’s behind (traffic, late customer, Employee takes home keys…oh and a the week before that I accidentally ripped my hoodie pocket and lost the key in one of the packed boxes…all 4 have happened on different routes this past month! I couldn’t believe I tore the hoodie pocket! I was so mad at myself!)
Anyway, I would like to use the texts to send out 1 text for the whole route if something is going awry. Or to send out a text reminder to order. If that’s ok with you, if you could take an extra 5 min or less at the stop and either see if your number is in there already or add your name and number, email if you wish and the GROUP is important. MAINE for the Maine delivery which goes up 101 and includes part of any , WMA (for western ma run and CT) VERMONT, NEEDHAM for the needham/RI/ and soon to be Boston run which will also be included in Needham route.
If you happen to use 2 groups type both routes in groups

Hi Everyone!
I just wanted to clarify day counts for orders. When you place your orders, you begin counting the 1st day on the next business day...so if you order on a Friday, your days don't start til Tuesday. For example: if you ordered on Nov 9th....your first day would be Nov 10th...but then sat sun mon aren't business days as we arent doing production those days (if we are lucky.) Your 2nd business day would be tues the 12th. Day 5 would be Nov 17th then you can't count sat sun mon again...so day 6 would be the 21st and day 7 would be the 22nd. On the 22nd, call and be sure your order is ready...barring anything crazy happening...we will be sure your order is packed and ready to go.
We do not get the chance to call to let u know your order is ready as we are so busy with production. All this used to be spelled out on the old website and should be there still...I just have to look as I really don't go on my own site. Lol

I've been thru a lot but I wouldn't ever change who I am...but still at work at 430 am....from yesterday morning...that I will change. Lol

Just to clarify...your cards are not stored on my site. They are tokenized when entered and NO ONE but you has access. Nothing was compromised. Spam bots card testing random numbers...soon as they find a real one...thats when they start charging. It's completely random numbers and has nothing to do with your cards or my site. They randomly pick sites for card testing and target small businesses.

The machine is broken pretty significantly. Waiting on a bunch of parts. In the meantime, we can do meatballs (1/4 lb) or 1 or 2 # chubs. The machine isn't meant to process bone so...we are sorry for the inconvenience. If you ordered patties, shoot me an email and let me know what u want to do.

Well...even with recaptcha we got CC spammed again and to protect everyone, they shut down card processing online again. Ugh! So just process your orders as cash on delivery and you can pay via venmo, cc over the phone if you prefer to pay early or cc, cash, check or venmo upon delivery. I'm so sorry...we have all the right things in place and this still happens. We are working to find out what heartland wants exactly for us to fix it.

Just before checking out, you must click on shipping on the upper right, then click the $15 deliver option. The drop down menus open to choose your routes, dates and time.
