At our shelter, not only do we provide food, water, shelter, and veterinary care, we also give the animal residents affection, social interaction with others of their own species, and a sense of security. The sanctuary currently shelters over 150 animals, each with their own story to tell. Some were dumped and discarded, some were left to die. They have come from unhappy circumstances, often mistreated or neglected, but now have a safe, permanent home at SASHA Farm.

Meet some friends of our flock! These adorable chooks live in our Main Coop area. They enjoy digging for bugs, sunbathing, dust bathing, and running to us for treats! Carl, the little guy, is the boss of the bunch and will protect us from our not-so-nice roo of the Main Coop. His ladies seen here, Eunice, Avery, and Harriet, are the sweetest girls and enjoy being in their caretakers company. They are the perfect fit for our little sanctuary family!

Throwback Thursday! Look at our adorable baby Nellie! This sweet girl (well, maybe spicy is a better word choice) came to SASHA in April of 2022, as a tiny little bottle baby. She has grown so much the past few years, and has found her place in the herd! We love you, Nell Bell. We couldn’t imagine life without you!
