We do this each & every Wednesday for Mancos, Cortez, & Durango, all year long! Although it's not always easy, we love providing these food-grade reusable trays full of nutrition & flavor..and we're kinda meticulous so that each one is absolutely beautiful for our customers 😍

Microgreens can be used as a supplement, not just as a pretty dressing on a plate or in a salad. Coming into spring salad..kale, apples, blackberries!

As a microgreen grower..I often find myself trying to plant perfect trays.

Everyday I seed, is a practice. A practice to trust that nature is perfect, even with its imperfections.

If I dont practice this..I will spend my whole day doing it, because I am somewhat of a perfectionist! Just a truth for me, about letting go (a little haha!) and letting nature 🌱

Some varieties of microgreens are harder & easier to grow.

This is micro Leek planted on h**p. While I dont suggest starting with this one, I do love to grow it!! It's an easier crop to seed, but it does require a longer time to complete, and there are a couple of tricks involved.

11+ days from plant to plate & totally worth it for adding to savory soups, salad, cheeses, or sandwiches!

We don't offer these seeds with our kits, but we will throw one in for you if you mention this post when ordering any of our kits online!

We are ending a really great year at the greenhouse and taking some time for the holiday. It's not often that a microgreen farmer takes a break with year-round production! It's going to be so good to rest, play, and spend time with family!
