Congratulations to Mandan Parks and Recreation on the official opening of the Boat Ramp at Car Bodies! The ice is clear, and the ramp is ready for use—just in time for spring adventures on the water. 🌊

The boat dock installation is still in the works, so stay tuned for updates on when it will be ready!

Big thanks to Mandan Parks & Rec, City of Mandan, and Morton County for their work in enhancing our river access! 👏

Mandan Annual Event Grant Applications Open – Due March 31

MANDAN, ND – The City of Mandan is accepting applications for the Mandan Annual Event Grant, supporting non-profit organizations that host community events enhancing the local economy and quality of life. Applications are due by March 31, 2025, for funding consideration in May.

A total of $20,000 is available, with grants up to $5,000 per event. Awards will be 50% Mandan Bucks and 50% cash. Community Events that attract visitors, impact the community, and include at least a 50% funding match will receive priority.

The annual Band Blast is happening April 12th! This is a fun, adult night out, with live music and many fun events throughout the evening. The night kicks off with a social at 5:00pm and dinner of Prime Rib or Shrimp at 6:00pm.

Morton County, North Dakota, is updating its Multi-Hazard Mitigation Plan, and a survey is being conducted as part of the planning process. Residents of Morton County are asked to participate in the survey. The plan is updated every five years, and is necessary to be eligible to apply for grant funding from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). Survey results will be used to identify gaps in local capability and develop mitigation projects for the plan.
