I had to pull my Big Girl britches on this weekend and run a HRC test by myself with Cruz (Jason was on call) it’s been years since I actually ran a dog in a test, luckily he was there most of the first day to give advice (along with training friends) and Journey and Cinder got to be the Test Run dogs. We passed both days..a great start to Cruz’ Hunt Test career! It’s been hardcore training to get these dog’s ready.

We would like to introduce:
Sheyenne River Chaos’ Hammerin’ Down Big Rigg (RIGGS) our newest addition here at Sheyenne River Retriever’s.
A few weeks ago Jason flew out to get this cutie which we have super high hopes he will be added to our Stud program in the future. We strive to always bring in the BEST of the Best pedigrees and genetics into our breeding program. Riggs comes out of Super Retriever Series Amateur Champion and 6x Grand Retriever, Hunter Retriever Champion, Upland Hunter, Master Hunter, Hall of Fame ….Running On The Verge Of Chaos. Riggs’ mom Rae is also a Hunter Retriever Champion and Master Hunter and between these 2 pedigrees there are 8 Grands, 9 Master Hunters, 2 Hall of Fame a Super Retriever Amateur Champion and 2 FC’s in a 3 generation pedigree.

We have a lot of pups in the Fargo area take advantage of the North Dakota Retriever Club. A lot of good folks with a lot of knowledge.

If you have a dog ready to level up, check out our advanced training course to be held on Wednesday evenings this coming season. Beginning May 15, course participants will work their dogs through upper level training drills and setups to bring them to new heights. Club membership required to participate, otherwise cost for this course is minimal with a fee for any live ducks that may be used. Reserve your spot early - limited to 12 dog-handler teams.

Ripley SH and Finn SH Puppies are 4 weeks old, getting all SASSYPANTS and starting to wrestle around. We started supplementing a feeding or two with puppy portage and they LOVE it, everyone is FULL and super sleepy, I kept them up past nap time to put collars on 🤣🥱😴🤣
