My Story

A Mandeville native, I graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi with a Bachelors Degree in Biological Sciences with a minor in Spanish. From there, I gained experience working in a local small animal veterinary practice to work towards my goal of becoming a veterinarian and serving my community. In 2013, I was accepted into Louisiana State University’s School of Veterinary Medicine and spent the next 4 years learning from most knowledgeable and hard working veterinary specialists that the South has to offer. I am forever grateful to my family, friends, and mentors who have supported me through such a challenging and exciting time.

I am overjoyed to announce that I have moved back to St. Tammany Parish and have begun working at Claiborne Hill Veterinary Hospital in Covington, Louisiana. Not only have I become an associate veterinarian but I have also taken on the role of after-hours care of patients by living above the veterinary clinic. I live with my husband, Springer Spaniel (Amos), Lhasa Apso (Bo), Munchkin cat (Caroline), and African Sulcata tortoise (Herman) in the clinic, located on Highway 36. My special interests include dermatology, nutrition, preventative medicine, senior health, as well as companion exotic animal medicine.

I’ve designed a page for those who want to follow a local veterinarian, ready to take on the world and serve my community to the best of my ability. I take pride in providing the best comprehensive veterinary care for the pets of Covington and the surrounding areas. Please join me through my journey in veterinary medicine and St. Tammany living, and I will be here to answer any questions you may have regarding the furry, scaled, or feathered members of your family.
