Ever wanted to know what goes on behind the scenes in training our horses? I'll be documenting much of River's training and sharing it here. Today was day one of his official program training. Just a short and positive "getting to know each other" session. I'm so excited and lucky to be working with such an amazing horse!

No bridle? No problem 😎

Colby is an available 2011 paint gelding that is the definition of "if you can sit on it, you can ride it". He is a tiny guy at only 14.3 hands but is basically a big puppy dog. He will follow you around and do anything to make you happy. He's spent most of his life on ranches, trail riding and doing ranch work. He is a super easy and relaxed ride, more whoa than go, and 100% beginner safe. If you're looking for your kiddo's first horse, he's exactly what I'd be looking for. He is as bombproof as they come (absolutely no spook, buck, bolt, or funny business). He is an unbothered king no matter the scenario. Perfect lesson or trail horse. We have used him for toddler and therapy lessons. Rode him around ba****ck at the fairgrounds and he just couldn't care less about all the commotion. Price to go up the longer I have him in training. I just started working with him on side passing and haunches in/out and he's picking it up easily. Beginner horses like this are hard to come by! No vices, totally sound. Mid x,###. We have horses, a mini donkey, mini horse, cow, goats, sheep, pigs, rabbits, and a guinea pig.

Horseback riding is NOT available during petting zoos.

$5/child which includes a feed cup!

All proceeds go toward Trinity Services, Inc to provide homes & supports for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and mental illness.

Our therapy farm is hosting an Open House on September 27th from 12 pm – 2 pm, and we invite you to be a part of our incredible journey. Whether you're an animal lover, a DIY enthusiast, or simply eager to give back, there are plenty of ways you can contribute to our farm's mission of healing and happiness.

Caring for Animals: Spend quality time with our animal residents, from cuddling with fluffy bunnies to feeding friendly goats. Your love and attention mean the world to them!
Building Structures: Get hands-on with construction projects that enhance the farm's facilities. Help us create safe and comfortable spaces for both our animals and visitors.
Assisting in Therapeutic Riding Lessons: Support our therapeutic riding program, where horses help individuals with special needs achieve personal milestones. No experience required – just a big heart and a willingness to learn!
Helping at Special Events and Birthday Parties: Be a part of the magic as we host unforgettable celebrations and events. Your creativity and enthusiasm will make these moments truly special.
