We are having a flash sale on camp for this Wednesday (7/24) through Friday (7/26)! $60/day or $150 for all 3 days. Each day includes a riding lesson, farm animal education, petting zoo, games, crafts, and more! This is a great opportunity to try out the camp if you haven't been before. Spots are very limited so message us if you have any questions or would like to sign up!

These camps are intended for kids 5+. Please provide a water bottle and lunch throughout the week except for Friday, our pizza party day.

We celebrated a special birthday this weekend for one of our regular little riders! His family even brought Dixon cookies and baked a Tulip cake for his favorite two horses here at the barn!

Registration is open for our July 8th-12th camp! It runs from 9 am - 2 pm as a drop off program for kids ages 5+. We have daily riding lessons, crafts, farm animal education, petting zoo, games, and more! Send us a message with your child's name, age, and an email address for a digital invoice to get signed up. Once the invoice is paid, your child will be registered for the camp.

16 year old sooty dun TWH/Percheron gelding, 16 hands

This guy is as sweet as they come. He was purchased to use in our therapy program but I think he would be happier doing something more stimulating. He was a trail horse before we had him and had been on several all-day trail rides. We’ve used him for all ages, from beginners to advanced riders. He can go English or Western. No health issues we are aware of or that his previous owner knew of. He's not gaited.

Easy keeper – he can live in a stall or outside. Gets along with everyone in the herd. Loves kids, we use him in kids camps and he’s a big fan of our petting zoos. No vices, absolutely no buck, rear, bolt, etc. Good for the farrier and shots, not spooky, you can ride him in an arena or out on the trails no problem. Barefoot and 100% sound the whole time we’ve had him. No maintenance or meds.

We have jumped him a bit. He will collect and get on the bit. He can move pretty fancy and has a great extended trot. He’s a little more go than whoa so I would suggest intermediate riders or a beginner working in a lesson program. Nothing crazy and he has great brakes but he just has a long stride and will open up as much as you’ll allow him.

He’s got a puppy dog personality and is playful and super lovable. He does play with his bit a lot but isn’t overly annoying about it. The only reason we’re looking to sell is we want a horse who can drive a cart and he seems a little bored with the therapy program as it’s 99% walking around or standing still. He’s pretty athletic so I think he’d be happiest doing more advanced work and using more of himself. Perfect for a lesson program – he has lots of miles left! Contact us for riding videos, questions, etc. Priced at $5,000. Trailering can be arranged.

Tomorrow from 8 am - 10:30 am

10 minute spots include 5 edited digital photos for $75

No guarantees as to which specific animal we will use in your photos! We have to work with whoever is calm and cooperative. We typically use our horses and mini cow.

We are not able to promise any future dates - we don't know when the flowers will get cut down.

Celebrate the upcoming Kentucky Derby with us at STRIDES! We will be open May 4th from 1 pm - 3 pm. Our suggested donation for entry is $10/family.

- Meet two real racehorses!
- 10 minute leadline rides on our horses for $5/rider
- "Winner's Circle" photo opportunity with a horse
- Visit with the other animals on the farm (mini cow, mini donkey, goats, sheep, pigs, cats, rabbits, hedgehog, and a guinea pig)
- Lawn games for the family

Rides are available for purchase on a first come, first serve basis at the event. Rides will end at 3 pm with a limited number available throughout the event.
