It’s HERE! The Grand Opening of Wag’s Barkery and Boutique happens TOMORROW!!! We open at 9:00am and will be there through Trick-or-Treating in the Ville and of course the K-State Homecoming parade!

I can’t explain how this sweet, adorable, managed to get in the washer… but she was so happy to get out!

This is a first for me. Disclosure: she is fine and had a nice roll in the grass and lots of hugs and kisses afterward.

Location: Ogden Community Center - 220 Willow Steet - Ogden, KS 66517
Time: 1pm-3:30pm
(Limit two pets per household. Dogs must remain on leash and cats in carriers.)
For the safety of both pets and owners during the hot summer months, this will be a drive-thru clinic. Please stay in your vehicle unless directed otherwise by a staff member.

What do you notice about this picture?

I notice a one-of-a-kind piece of local art by artist Jacob Sanderson of Mental and Material Art. I notice that 40% of the proceeds of the sale of this painting will be going to support providing pet food for our community members who could use a little help feeding their pets.

What does Fear Free mean? It means taking time to read body language, never scaring or hurting an animal to make them comply. Ani here, for almost a year, would not let me put a leash on her for a walk. One. Year. Look at her now! She even got lots of loving praise during and after our walk!!!
