Not all dogs are social butterflies! That’s why we use parallel walks when introducing new dogs—closing the distance gradually as we read their comfort levels through body language.

Sometimes the best form of socialization is simply walking near another dog without ever meeting face-to-face. And guess what? That’s perfectly okay. Your dog doesn’t have to say hi to everyone!

What we do work on is helping dogs pass others with minimal reactivity and a calmer mindset.
