We are on the search for the perfect humans to join our dog walking and pet sitting team! 🧐

We have a variety of shifts available: Weekdays between 10am-2pm, mornings, evenings, & rotational weekends. Shifts can vary and be flexible. Send us a message with any questions.

☆ Own car/insurance & valid driver's license
☆ Working rotating holidays is a must, even Thanksgiving & Christmas (pet care doesn't ever stop)

Yesterday's post triggered some questions from past team members so yes.....

Our friend Logan crossed the rainbow bridge recently. Logan had been with Leads Pet Care longer than any of our current team, even longer than Jennifer. She was one of our OGs from when we were Manhattan Mutt Company. She was always part of a trio, she loved to sunbathe outside no matter the weather, always grass rolled, and always made sure to voice her opinion. Even in her elder years she played tug, ran around, and hated that she no longer went on walks with her brother.

A sweet soul who lived a sweet life. Our weekly visits are definitely bittersweet now. 💙

Happy Friday! Today we are enjoying the cooler weather and getting caught up on office work.

This week was so hot, we were short staffed due to a team member having an out of state family emergency and it was our busiest week we have had all year!

So thank you for supporting us and for being patient with us. We should be caught up on inquires and requests but if you are still waiting on a response please let us know. We may have some how missed it and we do apologize and offer this great picture of Parker and Willow with an amazing view to help make up for our delays. 😊

Ps. Our friend Moose had surgery last week and seems to be recovering well! Moose likes to steal sunglasses off your head if you sit close enough. 😊

July may be hot but it has been full of celebrations and life events for our team!

And.......we said farewell to our Jenna! Over the years Jenna has been a vital part of our team and we can't wait to follow along as she starts her next adventure. She is spending the next month back at home with family before flying out to Scotland to start her Veterinary School journey overseas! Bittersweet for us but we are so excited for her and know she will do amazing. 🥰

Today I wish a heavenly happy birthday to Brandie, Leo's human mom. His soul mate. His person.

Leo's mom died unexpectedly at a young age last year. My wish is that she knows that he's safe. My wish is that everyone who owns pets has a plan in place for if the worst happens. My wish is that everyone who owns pets has family and friends like Brandie had.

See, when they knew they couldn't take Leo in themselves they did everything possible to keep him safe and make sure he had a place to go. When the shelter had a wait list they boarded him. They paid to make sure he was safe and secure, got him current on vaccines, got him groomed, etc. Leo was a large senior dog with medical issues. They reached out to friends, had professionals come meet him, they did what they needed.

I am lucky to be Leo's person now. I am lucky when he needed a place, we had the space. I am lucky he fit in with our crazy zoo. Last week, he gave us a scare and we ended up a K-State. We are lucky all is ok now.

Rescues and shelters are full. Please have a plan in place. Talk to us at Leads if you need help with your plan. We can't take them all but we will do our best to assist.

And to Brandie - happy birthday! Our gift is our promise that at 10 years old, Leo continues to thrive and we will make sure he lives with dignity the rest of his life. 💛
