📣📣ANNOUNCEMENT! 📣📣
Groomer Has It celebrated her 10th anniversary last month! Can you believe it? For over ✋🏻🤚🏻 years I have traveled to your homes on a regular basis and have built beautiful bonds with hundreds of your dogs that I get to love like my own. It’s been a sweeter gig than I could have ever imagined!
That being said, I’ve spent the last 2 weeks with a sluggish generator, which is what provides the power to my salon. I even found an AWESOME mechanic that I thought would be my saving grace. 🤗🤗 Alas, even as my van and its factory equipment have served me well on this journey - that main piece of equipment has reached the end of its lifespan. He equated my situation to your car having 300,000+ miles on it. He praised me for my maintenance routines, saying she was in the best possible condition he’s ever seen... but the old gal just can’t go on anymore. 😭😭
🚨🚨WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?🚨🚨
📌First, it means I’m overwhelmed; but you already knew that. 😩😩 🤣🤣
📌Secondly, it means I’ve scheduled the earliest appointment available on July 28th to take my van in for an upgraded conversion. Groomer Has It is making the switch to ALL BATTERY powered!!! 🫨😲 It’s a concept that has been making huge strides in the Mobile Grooming community over the last couple years and it seems they have finally worked out all the kinks with the new system. In turn, allowing me to be ready to take the plunge into the unknown - which isn’t something I often do well without a push. I’ve had my eye on this new feature for a while, and this generator failure I’m now experiencing is giving me the big shove I needed.
📌 Third, it means from now through the end of July are going to be a rough 6 weeks. I am currently working out a plan of how I can see as many of your dogs as I can. Between plugging my van in for a limited power source(which I can only do at my home from 7am-12pm, weather permitting), and my negotiations with Pawleashed by Haley to rent a table in her brick and mortar salon a few days a each week - I am currently exploring all of my options to get to as many of you as possible.
📌Lastly, it means I am going to let some of you down; I am sorry. 😔😔 Over these past 10 years I have given you a level of experience and care unique to each of your pets that, in my current predicament, I cannot replicate. Mobile Grooming is, quite simply, AWESOME… when things work properly. 🤣🤣 So many of you require that calm, peaceful, and one on one environment that I can provide when me and my equipment are at our best. Unfortunately, for the next 6 weeks it appears I’ll be running at about half capacity, but I’ll be doing it with my whole heart.
So, if you made it this far I applaud you. As painful as I expect the near future to be, I am THRILLED about what’s to come in my new chapters with this upgrade to a clean power system. 2025 started out rough with the weather, Spring was fantastic, Summer is beginning with yet another heavy blow, and I’ll let you know what punches Fall and Winter deliver when we get there. 😹😹
