I FINALLY MADE IT TO ONE OF YOU TODAY!! It took until almost 3pm before I got the van thawed and I took off at a sprint to make it to Tuckers house; even though he would have preferred I didn’t. Thank you all so much for bearing with me as I navigate these bone chilling temperatures. My schedule is still a complete nightmare but I WILL get around to all of you as soon as I can!

Raise your hand if you’re sick and tired of snow. Raise both hands if you’re over these bitter temps. Throw up two hands and one foot if you tried to go to work today and couldn’t. And lastly, all appendages to the sky for full access belly rubs by your Mom who’s stuck in the house with you for at least another day because she has checked the 3 previous boxes. 😭😭😭

Ed is screaming his love for the first full week of 2025 while I’m sulking in the heated blanket with my naked cat, Enoch. This weather is not a mobile groomers friend so I don’t really know how this week is gonna play out. Most maintenance plans will likely be pushed out another week or two while I try to fit you all in where I can when I’m able to get back in action.

I hope you’re all staying warm and safe with a book in hand while we get through this miserable week!

Happy New Year!! There’s a few changes as we enter 2025. I had to close my books last July and to say the past 6 months have been chaos would be an understatement. Moving forward, to stay on my schedule all clients are required to be on a maintenance plan of 8 weeks or less. This difference will only affect a handful of you, but it will allow me the consistency and peace I need to stay on top of life. Plans range from 2, 3, 4, 6, and 8 week intervals and are booked out for the entirety of the year. If you are not ready to commit to a reoccurring schedule I can likely still trickle you in for a couple months, or until the clients on my waitlist have filled all available appointment slots. As always, thanks for your patronage and I look forward to the continuous and routine service of your grooming needs.

I can contain my excitement no longer and am putting up my tree today. For none other reason than these amazing custom ornaments I ordered from Elmo Creek Designs of all my past and present kids! I could not be happier with how they turned out and if you want something special for your own pets this year she has THE BEST made with love and detailed dog/cat gear around!!

A little preventative maintenance was done today by quite possibly my number one fan.😉 Small leak? Now dry as a bone! New control panel? He swapped those wires like nobodies business (even if he can’t feel his fingers now). Roof top vents for a brush and blow out? HE’S HIRED… although retired.🤣 Thanks, Dad! It’s a pleasure doing business with you!!😂🥰

The schedule is full and GHI is no longer accepting new clients! If you have not used my service before I am unable to accommodate your grooming needs at this time. I will reassess for 2025 at the end of this year and may have a few maintenance plan slots that open up, let me know if you’d like to be put on next year’s waiting list.

UPDATE: After 5+ weeks Murphy is back with her Mom! The details are a little fuzzy and she ended up at someone’s home in Eudora; but that’s neither here nor there. The important thing is flyers and rewards work! If you ever lose your pet please follow the advice and professional protocols for your best chance at reunification. Happy tails today!!

One of you are missing in the 135th and Murlen area. Please keep an eye out for Murphy the little 4lb Pomeranian mix as she escaped her yard and her mother misses her terribly. She visited me last week and got a mullet for a hair cut which makes her unmistakable. She had on a strawberry collar with name tag and phone number, but you can call or message me at (913)998-8010 if it has worked its way off. If you could all please check your Next Door apps for me as well it would be greatly appreciated.

It was a for a couple of my youngsters. Loki and Cooper are still learning about the grooming process but practice makes perfect so we’ll keep on trying!!
