Manhattan Kansas Kennel Club (MKKC) serves Manhattan & surrounding areas, providing dog owners with low cost training, encouraging responsible dog ownership through public education, and co-hosting the Capital City Cluster Dog Show in Topeka.

*Event Cancelled* Due to extreme weather forecasted for tomorrow, the Tricks for Treats event has been cancelled. The shelter hopes to schedule a new event in the spring! We look forward to seeing everyone when that time comes!

MKKC’s annual meeting is tomorrow, Tuesday, October 8, at 7:30 pm. We will be having elections for the coming year.

MKKC hosted a therapy dog test this afternoon—09/08. Four dogs tested and two passed. Congratulations to those who passed and a big thank you to club members that gave of their time and helped with the test.

MKKC needs stewards for Conformation, Obedience, and Rally for our All Breed Show August 22nd and 24th! Event location is Stormont Vail Events Center in Topeka Ks. Lunch will be provided.

Don’t know how to steward? No worries! We are having a ring stewarding class after our monthly meeting on August 13th. Meeting starts at 7:30 and class will follow!

MKKC STAR Puppy Class graduation and puppy agility tonight. Everyone had a great time. Wonderful puppies and great owners! Look forward to seeing these puppies in future classes. Next puppy class will be starting mid-September.
