Tonight MKKC conducted an agility workshop for students from the Vet School Purina group. The students were provided a history and brief overview of agility. Followed by demonstration from club members’ dogs. Then each attendee participated with their dogs. All had a good time and many thanks to club members for helping out.

MKKC members enjoyed themselves at our annual awards dinner on Tuesday, January 14, as we celebrated our dogs’ achievements over the past year.

MKKC group showed at UKC agility trial in Hutchinson this past weekend. All had a good time and success with their dogs.

MKKC had our Christmas Party this evening (December 10). Everyone enjoyed good food; fun games including holiday jeopardy, doggie gift exchange, and guessing games; and fellowship. Members also brought donations for Purple PAWS.

*Event Cancelled* Due to extreme weather forecasted for tomorrow, the Tricks for Treats event has been cancelled. The shelter hopes to schedule a new event in the spring! We look forward to seeing everyone when that time comes!

MKKC’s annual meeting is tomorrow, Tuesday, October 8, at 7:30 pm. We will be having elections for the coming year.

MKKC hosted a therapy dog test this afternoon—09/08. Four dogs tested and two passed. Congratulations to those who passed and a big thank you to club members that gave of their time and helped with the test.
