is right around the corner on December 2nd, and Prairie Paws is gearing up to join the global day of giving! If you want a simple, meaningful way to help, creating your own Facebook Fundraiser is one of the best ways to support our animals.

Here’s how to set yours up:
1️⃣ Go to Facebook’s Fundraising Tool
Open Facebook, tap the Menu, and select Fundraisers under “Community Resources,” or head to facebook.com/fundraisers.
2️⃣ Click “Raise Money”
Choose “Nonprofit” and type in: Prairie Paws Animal Shelter.
3️⃣ Set Up Your Fundraiser
• Title it however you’d like (example: Help Fuel the Fleet for Prairie Paws!)
• Pick a goal you feel good about
• Set your end date for after December 2nd so donations can keep rolling in
4️⃣ Share Why You Care
Let people know why Prairie Paws matters to you or how animals have impacted your life.
5️⃣ Add a Photo
Use a Prairie Paws Giving Tuesday image, one of your own pets, or anything that fits the vibe.
6️⃣ Publish and Share

Post it, invite friends, and spread the word in your groups or Messenger.
Your fundraiser—big or small—helps us get closer to our Giving Tuesday goal to “Fuel the Fleet” and keep lifesaving work rolling forward. Thanks for being part of the Prairie Paws family!

Our beautiful barn cat Smooch is looking for a new place to roam! She’s an independent girl who definitely prefers the great outdoors, a cozy barn/shelter, and plenty of space to do her own thing. If you’ve got a safe property and need a little extra “pest control with personality,” Smooch might just be your perfect match!

She’s spayed, healthy, and ready to start her new adventure. 💛

This year at Prairie Paws, we’re celebrating the pets, volunteers, and stories that made 2025 unforgettable across our three locations. And we’re asking for your support to fuel our fleet—our transit vans are essential for transporting animals safely between shelters and giving pets a second chance at a loving home when space opens up at one of our locations.

We're excited to partner again with the KSU College of Veterinary Medicine Community Outreach Team to provide essential vaccinations for dogs and cats owned by families in need. We’re covering both core and lifestyle vaccinations and offering FREE microchips to help keep pets safe and secure! 🐾💖
