Good morning everyone!
Just a quick update about the construction starting on Anderson Ave; the entrance to the clinic off of Anderson Ave. is closed. For all clients with upcoming appointments, please access the clinic from Wreath ave. coming from the North side (Claflin or Kimball). As of now this is the only entrance into our clinic. Please keep in mind that as construction continues, this may change but we will do our best to keep everyone updated! We apologize for any inconvenience and don’t hesitate to call us if you have any questions!

Meet Molly and Stormy! Two 11 year old kitties who are in search of a new home at no fault of their own. Molly is the tabby and Stormy is the tortoise shell.
Both Molly and Stormy are very friendly, playful, and get along with other pets as well as other people and kids. They are both well with no major health concerns and will be up to date on vaccines as of 7/23. The owner would prefer that both are adopted together but thinks they would manage being separated. They are currently being fostered by a family friend until they find their “fur”ever homes. 🐾

Hope everyone is having a great Monday! Just a friendly reminder to keep an eye on your pets this week when outside in the hot weather. Here are some symptoms to look out for in your pets. It is never a good idea to leave them outside for prolonged periods of time unsupervised or in a hot car. Stay cool and have a great week!

Bear came to see us due to some mouth pain. Turns out he had broken a tooth chewing on some hard toys. We proceeded with a dental cleaning, radiographs, and extraction of the broken teeth. We are sure glad that we can get Bear back to feeling better! Did you know that if dogs chew on items that are too hard that they can break their teeth? Check your pet's chew toys, if you cannot dent it with your fingernail, then it's too hard and may cause fractured teeth!

Please join us in welcoming Dr. Amanda Hoffman, a Maryland native and 2022 graduate of Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine.
Dr. Hoffman began practicing in upstate New York after moving there with her husband, a Captain with the Army. Luckily for us, they now live in Manhattan, KS with their 4 dalmations and two cats. They also have a Paint Cross horse named Apache, whom she hopes to bring from the east coast soon.
Dr Hoffman's professional interests include soft-tissue surgery and fear-free practice. In her personal time, she enjoys being outdoors and discovering new food/drink spots with her husband.

Zeus hit the jackpot with his new mom. After some allergy issues, this handsome lab looks SOOOO much better and is now up to date on all his vaccines.
