I have fireworks on my mind, and boarding reservations before my eyes! It may seem like a ways off, but our next holiday is the fourth! Be sure to get your spot reserved ASAP to ensure you can sit pool-side with your bros without a care in the world - because we'll have your furry friend taken care of.

If you haven't been out before, we highly recommend bringing your dog out for a day or three of daycare prior to the big weekend so they can get used to the sounds, smells, routines AND to know that you'll be back! We will not have regular daycare hours July 3 - July 7 to ensure that all of those with us have their own space dedicated for their safety. Those fireworks are loud, and scary! Any time there are fireworks, the number of pets that run away (out of fear) skyrockets. Help us help you by making a reservation for overnight and letting us handle the rest.

As always, we require the following vaccinations:
- Dogs: Rabies, Distemper, Bordetella
- Cats: Rabies, Distemper, (if outdoor) Feline Leukemia

Recommended items:
- Bedding / something that smells like home
- Food (while we provide Canadae for dogs and Purina for cats at no extra charge, it can upset your pet's tummy to hard switch from one diet to the next for a short period of time)
- Medication if they are on any
- Treats!!!

Daycare hasn't changed!!! Monday - Friday (non-holiday weeks) we do not require reservations for Daycare. We are open, rain or shine 7:30am to 6:30pm Monday through Friday.

IF there is a holiday, we will block off the dates in our Paw Partner app and warn you at least 3 weeks in advance with fliers in the office. We are still going strong for these last few weeks of school going into the summer break! We'd love to have your pups (and let them get muddy) soon!

Daycare will be closed May 18-19 for MHS Graduation and May 23-27 for Memorial Day.

When you log in, scroll WAAAAAY to the bottom of your dashboard and hit "Service Agreements" to sign through our Boarding/Daycare, Group Play, Medical, Unaltered, Payment, and Abandonment agreements. This can save you up to 20 minutes at check in!

Boarding dogs & cats / Grooming dogs:
You DO need a reservation to come in, any time.

DOG (dog dog) OF (of of) THE (the the) WEEEEEEEEEEEK (eeeeeeeeeek)!!!

Please put your paws together to welcome the dynamic duo - Jacinto and Canela! These two have lots of words to share with anyone who will listen. They love to lick fingers, faces, and jump all over whichever person is paying attention to them (or not). It's a bummer their mom say they're on a diet, because all I want to do is give them a treat every time I see them! (Maybe I'm the reason they're on a diet..... I plead the fifth now)

Welcome to another week, and a new edition of DOG OF THE WEEK!
This week we have Mr Handsome, AKA Cole!

Mr Handsome is not a normal dog - he's royalty. He gets dropped off every morning by his chauffer, greeted at the door by his hype man, and then gently dragged to the door before he realizes that his feet work, he really does want to go out, and he can walk the rest of the way out. He is fed only the finest kibble in the kennel, provided by the aforementioned chauffer, in a shiny stainless steel bowl.

Don't let him fool you though, his status doesn't affect his attitude or personality, as he is always down to play in the mud and water. Unfortunately his chauffer is timely as ever and always interrupts his afternoon sunbathing to take him back home.

Help this distinguished gentleman keep his ego inflated and hit that heart react!

You'd never guess that these two come together, because outside of their alarm barking, taking turns being each other's shadow, answering to the other's name constantly, following you around like you're not allowed in the yard with them, sleeping together, eating together..... okay no, they do everything together. Yes they make it really hard to mistake them as anything but siblings 🤣

🚨BIG BAD DOG OF THE WEEK ALERT!🚨

Sig (AKA Sigmund Freud, AKA Siggy, AKA Floofy Boi, AKA Big Baby, AKA Hey no come here, AKA Sig-Sig) is A-DORABLE, and unfortunately he knows it! Lucky for us, his momma has been bringing him since he was just a few weeks old, so he has quite literally grown up here - from baby to the now very lanky (and awkward) teenager stage. He's very popular out in the yard with the napping dogs as all he wants to do after rough-housing with the other puppies is to curl up and SLEEP (peep the photo, after 25 seconds of a photo shoot).

Welcome to another week, and a new edition of DOG OF THE WEEK!
This week we have We**ie Boy himself - Scout G!

As you've all hopefully gathered by now, all of the dogs here get nicknames. Scout is no exception with a plethora of wacky names, including but not limited to: Oscar Meyer Weiner, We**ie, Goofy Goober, We**ie Hut Jr, Scouty, etc. Mostly referring to his breed (and temperament) - Weiner. And in the typical fashion, I couldn't tell if I was spelling "weiner" right, and googled it. The definition of one is exactly what his personality is 🤣

Our DOTW this week is a very special boy: Harley.

All dogs have their own personality, Harley is no exception. He will come right into the office each morning and ram his bony head into our office manager's leg as she gives him his morning scratches. He'll then wait patiently for the door to be opened so he can go to his (and I do mean HIS) kennel. If there isn't a bed in there yet he will give the biggest pouty face you've ever seen (he could very much be part of the next casting callbacks for Sarah McLaughlin's next commercial) until you get him a blanket. If the blanket is too fluffy he won't bother you about it, he'll just take it upon himself to rearrange the stuffing.... everywhere.

If you stop by, you may find him and his partner in crime, Chloe (the papillion mix), either snuggled in their fluff-disaster or in the yard barking at mulch.

Our dog of the week this week is.... *drum roll* HONEY!
This spunky girl is one of our very regular pups for daycare and has acquired a long list of nicknames.
Honey Buns, Honey bunches of oats, bunny, Honnnneeeeyyyyyyyy, and the obvious one: Wackadoo.

Her favorite activities include harassing the neighbors when they visit their storage units, barking at any dogs having fun, glaring at any female dog that gets near her beau, Thorin, and laying in the only puddle of water in the yard.

Hype up this goofy girl by smashing that heart react!

Short answer: YES!!!

As a reminder - boarding and daycare for Spring Break (next week) is completely booked up. If you're already reserved, super! If not, we'll catch you back here starting the 18th!

Prices! We have a few different things that we offer here at the ole resort: dog boarding, cat boarding, dog half day daycare, dog full day daycare, cat daycare, etc.

For some context: half day daycare is less than 5 hours, full day daycare is more than 5 hours.

Meet our sassiest dog to ever have sassed this facility - Thorin K. He is a fluffy floofy Husky boy. Loves spending most of his day playing the guessing game of "is he breathing?" as being trampled by puppies and our staff yelling his name does nothing to disturb his slumber - and when we get to him on the far side of the yard, he rolls his eyes at us (we said he was sassy, right?). This would be perfectly fine, except his mom tells him every morning to "be a good boy" and "run off some energy". I swear, he sleeps more here than at home, but who are we to squash his fun?

Happy Leap Day! We are going to be LEAPING back into social media after a LONG time away. To start us off, here's a quick overview of what you can expect from us - we'll be taking a few days off here and there... Weekends, holidays, when I forget to post....... hey, it'll happen.
