This tiny 4 week old barn kitten had not one, but TWO cuterebra (botfly) larvae buried in the tissues of his neck. This video shows EXTRACTION OF THE LARVA!
Cuterebra fly (botfly) lays eggs within a wound or abrasion in the skin, or through the nose, eyes, or mouth of the cat (or dog) where they hatch 😱, and the larva will feed on the tissues. 🤢
The kitten did great and should make a full recovery! ❤️🩹
