Sad news. Ellie was not improving. Back to vet for more tests. Diagnosed with pancreatitis and suspicious shadow on abdominal X-ray. Had to stay at animal hospital, an IV was started to provide fluids, pain medicine and antibiotics, her systems started shutting down and she went into respiratory failure and cardiac arrest…they tried to revive her, but were unable to save her💔😔😢. We are heartbroken.

Prayers needed for Ellie. She is not doing well😔. Had her to vet yesterday…bloodwork and X-ray did not reveal a lot. She had 2 shots…antibiotic and stomach med, but no improvement so far🥲.

I want to thank everyone for their interest in this wonderful breed, unfortunately we do not have anymore litters planned at this time. Ellie is retired and we’ve decided against breeding her daughter Lucy. Lucy contracted Lyme disease at a young age and it affected her personality and feel she would not be a good mom 😕

ADOPTED

Bert is a handsome, 3 year old Bull Terrier bachelor looking for his forever family. It is likely that he is a Miniature Bull Terrier since he only weighs in at 35lbs. Bert has kind of a sad back story, we originally saw him posted on a lost and found page so we reached out to the shelter and offered rescue assistance in case he was not reclaimed. After all, this breed isn’t for everyone! The shelter found out who his owners were only to find out they were not legally allowed to have any animals due to previous animal cruelty charges so they signed him over. Bert loves any and all people he meets and with proper introductions, he is often very playful with other dogs that’s he’s met of his size. He is living with two cats in his foster home and respects the laid back confident cat but will chase the scared cat and pester him, but can be sternly called off. We are asking he go to a home with a securely fenced in yard and preferably one with breed experience. Bert is great for the vet staff, enjoys lounging on the couch, sits for treats, loves rolling around in the grass, great on car rides, has the best zoomies, and is great about pressing his egghead into your lap for cuddles. He is the poster child for a comical Bull Terrier who will keep you laughing and on your toes at all times. He is crate trained, house trained, and has pretty great leash manners.

Bert has an adoption fee of $350 and that includes his neuter surgery, up to date vaccines, microchipped, heartworm tested and started on heartworm prevention, as well as flea/tick prevention. Interested applicants shall submit an application here: https://forms.gle/WkiD5PgdmfjUTteF9

Ellie’s very last puppy left for her new home this morning. Mother and daughter went for one last walk this morning and had some 1:1 time together💕. She’s been a tremendous mom over the past four years to all 21 of her pups and now it’s time to enjoy life post motherhood!!

Second to last little girl headed for a big new adventure this past weekend. She’ll have other pups to play with and two sweet little boys! So glad all the pups found such wonderful families❤️🐾. We miss you little Ghost!

I am so pleased to pass along that 2 of Ellie’s pups from previous litters that had to be re homed are doing very well in their adoptive home with Felicia Peck and family. Venelope (Half-Pint) who has LAD and George are very loved and I couldn’t be happier for them ❤️🐾🐾. They couldn’t have found a better home. Felicia is a vet tech and was able to provide support for Venelope’s medical needs and give George special training to manage some of his behaviors. So glad they are both doing so well!

To everyone who has sent a message about a puppy...I am trying to respond to everyone but there has been an overwhelming interest in this litter. I am doing the best I can to get back to everyone! Thanks for your patience and understanding. Also, the reason I don’t accept deposits until 2 weeks of age is because the first 2 weeks of a puppy’s life is fragile and anything can happen...they don’t always survive 😢. A lot goes into raising a litter of pups!
