Some days, I wonder why I still do this. Some days, I want to give up and quit. Then, I have days like yesterday and today. I remember why I do this. It's because of my amazing clients! You continue to stick by me and trust me to care for your best horses. For that, I feel so appreciated! This is why I continue! I appreciate all my dedicated clients! Like they say, clients will become friends long before friends will become clients, and that is so true 🩷🩷🩷

You will never ‘out train’ pain.

You see a horse throwing its head, I see a horse who might need a dental.
You see a horse back sore, I see a horse that might need a saddle fit or check.
You see a horse not stopping using their hind end, I see a horse that may need their hocks checked.
You see a horse not able to lope a small circle, I see a horse that may need their stifles checked.
You see a horse getting frustrated because they can’t turn their head to the inside, I see a horse that may need their neck checked.
You see an ‘off’ run, I see a horse that may need chiropractic adjustment.
You see a horse that rears in the alleyway, I see a horse that may be a bleeder.

You won’t believe it until you see the 180° behavioral turn that a horse makes when they aren’t in chronic pain. Behaviorally, physically, emotionally, mentally, they change.

There is not one thing, medically, vet work, or therapy work, that I regret doing for my horses if it benefits them. I will argue till I’m blue in the face that these horses are athletes and they deserve to be treated like one.

They deserve the world, and owe us absolutely nothing.

You will never out-train pain.
