UPDATE on Mable❤️
In case you’re new here or you don’t remember Mabel…..
we picked up Mabel when another breeder found out that she was living in an Amish Kennel and she was very skinny and could barely stand up anymore. She was only 13 lbs.
We took her to the vet and Mabel has megaesophagus. We are grateful at the time we had somebody who was able to build us a Bailey chair. We started to feed Mabel in her chair and restrict water. Mabel only eats wet food. Wet food is 70% water roughly so she actually doesn’t have to drink any.
We got Mabel fixed, and once she hit about 20 pounds we found the most amazing home for her.
It’s been six years since she’s been adopted and she is still doing wonderful. She has the best family ever and a brother who also came from us named Benny.
I’m so grateful for my families and I’m so grateful for the dogs that have shaped me into who I am today❤ ️

Hey friends!! I wanted to share something that is so deep within my heart. I have been struggling with this since I watched their mama’s video.
I’m sure a lot of you follow her. She has multiple dogs just like me.
I feel compelled to talk about it because I don’t want it happening to anyone else.
It doesn’t matter if you only have two dogs or if you have 12. My reminder to you all today is that a dog is always a dog.
Please don’t get me wrong, I know that they carry emotions and love. Obviously, they carry healing powers and can truly be our best friends. 
But, dogs do not think about consequences like we do. They don’t have the ability to talk things out. So if they become anxious or fearful or upset in any way, it can come out as aggression. EVEN to their very best friend.
There are many cases, just like this one, that there was never any signs of aggression between the dogs. And then one day, there is.
I have even seen it happen when one of the dogs in a pack is feeling sick or has a seizure, another dog in the pack will try to attack it. Because again, they are dogs.
I have been on the receiving end of the loss from a dog fight. It’s devastating.
So my reminder to everybody today is to keep your dog safe when you’re not home. Dogs should be kept away from each other. Each one should have their own separate area that they cannot get to each other. When they’re outside, make sure you are watching them.
It’s so easy to get complacent and see how well they get along. But all it takes is one small trigger and everything can change.

Better late than never!! Been on the road all day and still not home.

🎄Dozer and Elvie wanted to join in on the cool Christmas AI trend too and honestly, how could they not?

This adorable duo came to us after being surrendered by a breeder, and they are still waiting for their next chapter in life to start. Both are fixed, vaccinated, dewormed, and have had full bloodwork panels completed. Dozer has also had a dental.

💜 Elvie, 5yrs old, 23lbs, White female French Bulldog
Elvie is people-obsessed, all she wants is to find her person or family and be by their side. She can be dog selective and does best with larger dogs. She is not recommended for a home with cats.

💙 Dozer, 5yrs old, 35lbs, Black & Brindle male French Bulldog
Dozer is great with people and other dogs, and would likely do well in a home with a cat. He was previously adopted and sadly returned through no fault of his own, the adopter simply realized they weren’t ready for the responsibility of a dog.

A little about their background
Dozer and Elvie were raised in a kennel setting. They do great going potty outside with a doggy door and will just need continued support and structure as they settle into a home. They’ve both been doing wonderfully and continue to improve every day.

Dozer and Elvie are not a bonded pair, but they do enjoy each other’s company and do great together. If you’re interested in adopting one or both, please apply below.
