Mabel is a lucky gal! She is the second Frenchie from love Road in her house !!
Lets congratulate Mabel and her mom on great work👏🏻

Mabel is working towards her pet therapy certification and so far has done her AKC Star Puppy 1 and Canine Good Citizen Classes. She is currently enrolled in the last puppy class where she will hone her skills further and finish before she can test for her therapy certification. This is so she can work with her mom, who is a mental health therapist. Mabel helps to provide a calm for patients during sessions.

Some of the things that she has had to learn to focus on are very specific such as being calm in large crowds, placing on a mat, sitting calmly for petting, not being distracted by other dogs, loud noises, etc. This is in addition to typical obedience skills like sit, stay, come, down, off, etc.

Mabel has done amazing with her training, especially for only being 9 months old. She is so in tune with her mom that she actually is now being dually trained as a service dog too with mom’s and their trainer for some of mom’s physical medical issues as Mabel started to naturally pick up and alert on her mom’s low blood sugars.

In her down time though, she is just your normal goofy Frenchie Gremlin who loves to play with her sister Frenchie Scout, get the zoomies, then snuggle with her humans.

UPDATE on Mable❤️
In case you’re new here or you don’t remember Mabel…..
we picked up Mabel when another breeder found out that she was living in an Amish Kennel and she was very skinny and could barely stand up anymore. She was only 13 lbs.
We took her to the vet and Mabel has megaesophagus. We are grateful at the time we had somebody who was able to build us a Bailey chair. We started to feed Mabel in her chair and restrict water. Mabel only eats wet food. Wet food is 70% water roughly so she actually doesn’t have to drink any.
We got Mabel fixed, and once she hit about 20 pounds we found the most amazing home for her.
It’s been six years since she’s been adopted and she is still doing wonderful. She has the best family ever and a brother who also came from us named Benny.
I’m so grateful for my families and I’m so grateful for the dogs that have shaped me into who I am today❤ ️

Hey friends!! I wanted to share something that is so deep within my heart. I have been struggling with this since I watched their mama’s video.
I’m sure a lot of you follow her. She has multiple dogs just like me.
I feel compelled to talk about it because I don’t want it happening to anyone else.
It doesn’t matter if you only have two dogs or if you have 12. My reminder to you all today is that a dog is always a dog.
Please don’t get me wrong, I know that they carry emotions and love. Obviously, they carry healing powers and can truly be our best friends. 
But, dogs do not think about consequences like we do. They don’t have the ability to talk things out. So if they become anxious or fearful or upset in any way, it can come out as aggression. EVEN to their very best friend.
There are many cases, just like this one, that there was never any signs of aggression between the dogs. And then one day, there is.
I have even seen it happen when one of the dogs in a pack is feeling sick or has a seizure, another dog in the pack will try to attack it. Because again, they are dogs.
I have been on the receiving end of the loss from a dog fight. It’s devastating.
So my reminder to everybody today is to keep your dog safe when you’re not home. Dogs should be kept away from each other. Each one should have their own separate area that they cannot get to each other. When they’re outside, make sure you are watching them.
It’s so easy to get complacent and see how well they get along. But all it takes is one small trigger and everything can change.
