Who's excited about this snow!?! We sure are! It's nice to look outside and see something other than BROWN everywhere!

But did you see the temps that are coming!?! We're getting ready to bundle up here! Brrr

The input good thing to come from those temps is that Farmer Dave will be on the ice and that means FISH FRY!

I may have made these loaves a tad too big! They're HUGE!

1st time making 4 loaves at once. This new mixer, Deborah Doughmaker is a beast! I can easily do 8 loaves at a time and will try that next!

Good morning Balde Farm friends!

Little Miss Opal has been dreaming of sunny days and green grass.

I won't lie, I've been itching for some gardening! So much so, that I'm preparing to try some winter seeding. This will be a first for me, but I'm very interested to see how it goes!

Does anyone have any experience with winter seeding that could give a girl some tips? Let me know in the comments!

Took a little longer than expected, but she's all setup and ready to work!

Balde Farm friends, I'd like to introduce you to the newest member of my baking team, Deborah Doughmaker!

She's large and in charge...of mixing dough.

Katie Kitchenaid has worked very well the last 10 years. But she was struggling to keep up with all the bread dough and extra large batches of cookie dough.

Katie isn't quite ready to hang up her paddle just yet though! So she'll be working PRN on light duty jobs.

I'm excited to see Deborah in action and will be sure to share updates!
