Our Party Barn season is kicking off early! We've got plenty of tables and chairs, cozy indoor seating, and an outdoor patio area with picnic tables. Lots of activities to keep your guests entertained. A full size fridge, stove, and microwave. We've even got a guest of honor chair! Fun add ons to make your event even more memorable include cotton candy and popcorn machine rentals and our animal encounter where you get up close and personal with our sweet farm animals. Our space is perfect for birthdays, bridal and baby showers, reunions, company picnics, paint and sip parties, girls get togethers, guys get togethers and so much more! If you teach craft or other classes, ask us about special pricing and host your class here! We've got additional tables and chairs available! And just like that, we have a new herd leader! Maisy decided she's getting too old to be trying to debate the issue. Surprisingly, she threw up the white flag without much more than a look and a squeal from Shayde the hackney mare. She and Star, my new paint, seem to be settling in super fast. It's been a busy day in the kitchen! We will have sourdough sandwich bread in the Farm Stand tomorrow! $10/loaf. I'll have it nicely sliced for ya! I also made several dozen cutout cookies and brownies for Spring and St Patrick's Day. They literally just came out of the oven so I'll frost them tomorrow after work. Wait until you see how cute they're gonna be! At least...in my head they're super cute! But I've never actually decorated cookies or brownies like I'm planning to. So we shall see lol. Good morning Balde Farm friends! The Farm Stand is OPEN from 8am to 5pm today! After Monday's beautiful weather we wanted to keep those happy Spring vibes going. So we added some fun new decor to welcome ya'll! Peep those sweet chickens! And even though our real flowers are nowhere ready to bloom, we've got some in the ground that will bloom rain or snow! Today in the Farm Stand we have scones and gourmet cookies. Scone flavors: Raspberry White Chocolate Chip Blueberry White Chocolate Chip Chocolate Chip Craisin And we've only got the Dubai Chocolate Stuffed Gourmet Cookies today. By special request, I made a stuffed cookie using the viral Dubai chocolate spread. If you haven't heard of it, I'd be shocked because it's all the rage right now! It's a pistachio, peanut butter, chocolate, tahini, and crunchy kataifi. Your best bet honestly, would be to Google it if you're not familiar with it lol. But just look at that gooey goodness inside there! We will have a very limited quantity in our Farm Stand tomorrow! So if you've been wanting to try these, make sure you get there early! I wanted to start with a small batch just to be safe because the ingredients to make these are pricey. If they're popular enough, I'll make a bigger batch.
