Things may seem quiet over her but there’s so much happening behind the scenes. I’m working on finishing up a few projects, sewing through my materials, and organizing my space. I don’t always have (or want to take 😜) the time to film or take photos of what I’m up to.
There are a handful of new babies being born in our circle so I’m busy creating special pieces for each one of them. 🤍
I love when patterns come with coloring sheets! 🤗 These help me tremendously when I’m planning a quilt (plus who doesn’t love coloring!?). I can see how the colors come together, where I might want patterns or solids. And most helpful, how the pattern changes with the color choices.
Which version do you like best? All black background, all white, or a mix?

The calm of sewing straight lines.
Some days my brain is fried, I don’t trust myself measuring and cutting or piece quilting. I go back to the simplicity of whole cloth quilting and stitching straight lines.

I’ve been go go go with my family all summer. These next couple weeks are time for me to play catch up on some projects I’ve had laying around. One being this daisy/sunshine blanket. The white version of this one sold its first day at market and was one of my absolute favorites 🤍 the blue version is just as pretty!

Sewing while traveling. What I bring:
🪡 Zip pouch of the essential tools (rotary cutter, small scissors, seam ripper, measuring tape, marking pen), brand labels, zip pouch of basic color cones and bobbins, 🧵 box of small colored threads, pressing mat and small iron, small square ruler, and of course my machine! There are so many other things I could have brought also but I kept it simple this time.
I’ll be at my camper all week. Sunday markets have thankfully been going so well my stock is looking thin! I couldn’t afford to take a week off sewing while I’m here so I decided to bring a few projects with me.
