I acknowledge with sadness the passing of a special person in my life, my Auntie Sheri. She was instrumental in the founding of Halo Pet Care and was one of my biggest supporters from the very beginning. She generously gave her time to help me structure and prepare paperwork, all to benefit me and the future animals and people we would help. I am thankful to have had her in my life. She will be greatly missed.

Losing a pet or loved one is difficult, and as a veterinarian, I am not immune to these losses. Over the years, I have had the privilege of meeting many amazing people and pets.
Losing a patient or client is hard when you’ve been together through the years as their care provider, navigating both sickness and health.
Recently, I helped say goodbye to a patient that was a very special part of her late owners life. While I am happy this Lady is on the other side, jumping back into her owners arms, it leaves us with the sadness of their absence.
Today, I am seeking comfort in a warm coffee, messaging a friend who shared in their joy, am thankful for the lives they lived, and that we have the opportunity and joy of animals and people in our lives.
