Everybody stop scrolling and say hello to our October Employee of the Month! Sky only makes an appearance a few times a year, but he definitely makes an impression when he does! He was reluctant to stop playtime to do this interview, so he asks that you stop everything you're doing to pay attention to him 😜

My job at The Lodge: My job is to be the most cutest and handsomest in the whole entire Lodge. Big thanks to Jana'e Pederson for making this job easy for me 😘 OH, I also am in charge of making sure all the staff have both hands intact at all times. I do this by putting them in my mouth ever so gently........

My favorite coworker: My favorite coworker is Bernard! We make great friends because his favorite game is to be chased, and mine is to chase. It works out perfectly!

My favorite game: I know I just said my favorite game is to chase, but honestly it's so much more than that. I'm very good at controlling the direction they are running, I am a Sheltie after all!

Fun Fact: My BIG sister Bess is a Great Pyrenees! I love her, and sometimes she even lets me ride her.

Our September Employee of the Month award is more of a Memorial, which is incredibly heart breaking. But the big, goofy, loveable Fozzie deserves this award so much. Please read about him and all the fun and joy he brought to everyone he met in his short time here on Earth.

Condolences to Fozzie's family, we will all miss him SO much. ♥️

My Job at The Lodge: My job at The Lodge is to watch over everybody and make sure they are having fun (including the staff)! They picked me for the job because I am the tallest in the yard at all times, so its easy for me to see everyone! If I have to intervene and force someone to have fun, I will. 😎

My favorite coworker: My favorite coworker is Stella M. I get to see her every Wednesday, and I love how she will start playing with me the moment we get reunited! I can't wait to see her again someday.

My favorite game: My favorite game is to give hugs and kisses to the staff. I can always tell when they are having a bad day and need extra. ♥️

Fun fact about me: I recently crossed the Rainbow Bridge, and even though I miss my family and friends on Earth so much, I have been having so much fun with my siblings, and all my old friends who I knew at the Lodge!

Time to announce our very overdue August Employee of the Month! This one is very special to us as she is our most recent obedience program graduate! Please help us congratulate Miss Ula! Oo-la-la she is a pretty girl ✨️✨️

Ula had a lot to say in her interview, she just loves to talk! (And can produce a very wide variety of sounds, we must say)

My job at The Lodge: My job is "Fetch Supervisor." I am required to follow closely behind any dog fetching the ball, to make sure they are going in the correct direction! I am not a herding breed, but it is fun to pretend!

My favorite coworker: My favorite coworker is Abby B. She loves to wrestle and play chase with me. She is also a mini golden doodle just like me!

My favorite game: My favorite game is obedience. I love to show off what a good listener I am, plus I get so much attention and pets when I play this game! I can sit and stay for over 2 minutes! I've also got a perfect heel, which I am very proud of.

Fun Fact About Me: I recently learned that new places aren't so scary. I even got to meet some baby chick's at Fleet Farm! (See photos below)

Great work Ula, as well as her owners Stacy and Eric for helping her become the best version of herself. ♥️

Our July Employee of the Month award goes to a dog who has made friends with nearly every other dog here, as we got the pleasure of watching her grow up from the time she was just a tiny pup. I can almost bet that even if you don't know her, your dog does!

And this dog is STELLA!!!!! Otherwise affectionately known by our staff as "Stelly Belly." Stella plays a big role around here, so keep reading to learn more about her!

My job at the Lodge: My job is one called "lawn mower." It's means just what you think, they make me mow all the grass in the yard... WITH MY MOUTH!! I take it so seriously that I can't even hear them when they tell me I've done enough, I go above and beyond.

My favorite coworker: OH I really can't pick a favorite! I think my favorite is whoever is new, new friends are my favorite! I love showing them the ropes. :)

My favorite game: My favorite game is to do figure eights in between the staff's legs. I will go FOREVER round and round and round, and I will have a giant grin on my face while I do it too!

Fun Fact: My fun fact is that I am dedicating this award to my late older brother, Jack. He won the July award last year, and taught me everything I needed to know to win it this year! Everyone misses him so much, but this would make him happy. ❤️

Happy Friday! Our weekends have been a party around here lately, and today was no exception!

We are filled with gratitude to be announcing such a special Employee of the Month for June. Mochi deserves a BIG congratulations from our Liberty Acres Community for being the FIRST graduate of Liberty Acres Dog Training lessons!

Mochi has worked very hard with Ariel, and his owners Thuy and Jim to become a polite and well mannered member of his family and community. Keep reading to learn more about him!

My job at the Lodge: My job at the Lodge was super serious and important. I had to tell Ariel every day that there were other dogs here. She never seemed to listen though! She kept saying something about "leave it?" I'm not sure. Thank Dog I am retired now though, that was stressful!

My favorite game: My favorite game is either fetch, or tug of war, I can't decide. Since I can't decide, I like to combine them! I play tug of war while the human tries to get the ball back, so they can throw it, so I can fetch it. Works perfectly! 😎

My favorite coworker: My favorites are Abby B the mini doodle, or Coco the rescue puppy. I LOVE to run around with them, but I have to remind them all the time to slow down, I have little legs!!

Fun Fact About Me: One fun fact about me is that I LOVE to have my ears scratched. Ariel never used a single treat while we were training, she paid me in ear scratches. Worked for me, less taxes anyway!
