We could all use a little extra warmth on this cold December evening... so lets announce the November Employee of the Month winner! Everybody meet Ella the pug! She will steal your heart with one glance, and you'll suddenly find yourself wanting nothing more than to give her a treat (that was her goal).

My job at the Lodge: My job is to be everybody's little stress ball! I have the perfect amount of squishiness for it. Nobody will feel any stress when I'm around!

My favorite coworker: My favorite coworker is Penee the pug (pictured below). We like to do all the same things together! Eat treats, sniff around, nap, eat more treats...

My favorite game: My favorite game would be anything that involves getting treats. So sitting, going back into my kennel, looking up at staff with the CUTEST look I can muster, you know, all those fun things.

Fun Fact About Me: I may not look it, but I am VERY strong. All the treats go straight to my muscles. 💪

We absolute adore Ella around here, and we hope you do too ♥️

Everybody stop scrolling and say hello to our October Employee of the Month! Sky only makes an appearance a few times a year, but he definitely makes an impression when he does! He was reluctant to stop playtime to do this interview, so he asks that you stop everything you're doing to pay attention to him 😜

My job at The Lodge: My job is to be the most cutest and handsomest in the whole entire Lodge. Big thanks to Jana'e Pederson for making this job easy for me 😘 OH, I also am in charge of making sure all the staff have both hands intact at all times. I do this by putting them in my mouth ever so gently........

My favorite coworker: My favorite coworker is Bernard! We make great friends because his favorite game is to be chased, and mine is to chase. It works out perfectly!

My favorite game: I know I just said my favorite game is to chase, but honestly it's so much more than that. I'm very good at controlling the direction they are running, I am a Sheltie after all!

Fun Fact: My BIG sister Bess is a Great Pyrenees! I love her, and sometimes she even lets me ride her.

Our September Employee of the Month award is more of a Memorial, which is incredibly heart breaking. But the big, goofy, loveable Fozzie deserves this award so much. Please read about him and all the fun and joy he brought to everyone he met in his short time here on Earth.

Condolences to Fozzie's family, we will all miss him SO much. ♥️

My Job at The Lodge: My job at The Lodge is to watch over everybody and make sure they are having fun (including the staff)! They picked me for the job because I am the tallest in the yard at all times, so its easy for me to see everyone! If I have to intervene and force someone to have fun, I will. 😎

My favorite coworker: My favorite coworker is Stella M. I get to see her every Wednesday, and I love how she will start playing with me the moment we get reunited! I can't wait to see her again someday.

My favorite game: My favorite game is to give hugs and kisses to the staff. I can always tell when they are having a bad day and need extra. ♥️

Fun fact about me: I recently crossed the Rainbow Bridge, and even though I miss my family and friends on Earth so much, I have been having so much fun with my siblings, and all my old friends who I knew at the Lodge!

Time to announce our very overdue August Employee of the Month! This one is very special to us as she is our most recent obedience program graduate! Please help us congratulate Miss Ula! Oo-la-la she is a pretty girl ✨️✨️

Ula had a lot to say in her interview, she just loves to talk! (And can produce a very wide variety of sounds, we must say)

My job at The Lodge: My job is "Fetch Supervisor." I am required to follow closely behind any dog fetching the ball, to make sure they are going in the correct direction! I am not a herding breed, but it is fun to pretend!

My favorite coworker: My favorite coworker is Abby B. She loves to wrestle and play chase with me. She is also a mini golden doodle just like me!

My favorite game: My favorite game is obedience. I love to show off what a good listener I am, plus I get so much attention and pets when I play this game! I can sit and stay for over 2 minutes! I've also got a perfect heel, which I am very proud of.

Fun Fact About Me: I recently learned that new places aren't so scary. I even got to meet some baby chick's at Fleet Farm! (See photos below)

Great work Ula, as well as her owners Stacy and Eric for helping her become the best version of herself. ♥️
