Time to announce our very overdue August Employee of the Month! This one is very special to us as she is our most recent obedience program graduate! Please help us congratulate Miss Ula! Oo-la-la she is a pretty girl ✨️✨️

Ula had a lot to say in her interview, she just loves to talk! (And can produce a very wide variety of sounds, we must say)

My job at The Lodge: My job is "Fetch Supervisor." I am required to follow closely behind any dog fetching the ball, to make sure they are going in the correct direction! I am not a herding breed, but it is fun to pretend!

My favorite coworker: My favorite coworker is Abby B. She loves to wrestle and play chase with me. She is also a mini golden doodle just like me!

My favorite game: My favorite game is obedience. I love to show off what a good listener I am, plus I get so much attention and pets when I play this game! I can sit and stay for over 2 minutes! I've also got a perfect heel, which I am very proud of.

Fun Fact About Me: I recently learned that new places aren't so scary. I even got to meet some baby chick's at Fleet Farm! (See photos below)

Great work Ula, as well as her owners Stacy and Eric for helping her become the best version of herself. ♥️

Our July Employee of the Month award goes to a dog who has made friends with nearly every other dog here, as we got the pleasure of watching her grow up from the time she was just a tiny pup. I can almost bet that even if you don't know her, your dog does!

And this dog is STELLA!!!!! Otherwise affectionately known by our staff as "Stelly Belly." Stella plays a big role around here, so keep reading to learn more about her!

My job at the Lodge: My job is one called "lawn mower." It's means just what you think, they make me mow all the grass in the yard... WITH MY MOUTH!! I take it so seriously that I can't even hear them when they tell me I've done enough, I go above and beyond.

My favorite coworker: OH I really can't pick a favorite! I think my favorite is whoever is new, new friends are my favorite! I love showing them the ropes. :)

My favorite game: My favorite game is to do figure eights in between the staff's legs. I will go FOREVER round and round and round, and I will have a giant grin on my face while I do it too!

Fun Fact: My fun fact is that I am dedicating this award to my late older brother, Jack. He won the July award last year, and taught me everything I needed to know to win it this year! Everyone misses him so much, but this would make him happy. ❤️

We are filled with gratitude to be announcing such a special Employee of the Month for June. Mochi deserves a BIG congratulations from our Liberty Acres Community for being the FIRST graduate of Liberty Acres Dog Training lessons!

Mochi has worked very hard with Ariel, and his owners Thuy and Jim to become a polite and well mannered member of his family and community. Keep reading to learn more about him!

My job at the Lodge: My job at the Lodge was super serious and important. I had to tell Ariel every day that there were other dogs here. She never seemed to listen though! She kept saying something about "leave it?" I'm not sure. Thank Dog I am retired now though, that was stressful!

My favorite game: My favorite game is either fetch, or tug of war, I can't decide. Since I can't decide, I like to combine them! I play tug of war while the human tries to get the ball back, so they can throw it, so I can fetch it. Works perfectly! 😎

My favorite coworker: My favorites are Abby B the mini doodle, or Coco the rescue puppy. I LOVE to run around with them, but I have to remind them all the time to slow down, I have little legs!!

Fun Fact About Me: One fun fact about me is that I LOVE to have my ears scratched. Ariel never used a single treat while we were training, she paid me in ear scratches. Worked for me, less taxes anyway!

Our May Employee of the Month has an incredible story of resilience and bravery. Everybody meet Sadie! Sadie lived the first few years of her life in a tiny crate at a puppy mill. She was rescued by her wonderful owner, Sara, who has been working hard to give her the best life possible, and show her that not all humans are bad! Sadie has grown into an absolutely wonderful and outgoing dog that brings so much joy to our staff and other dogs when she's here. Please help me congratulate Sadie on her bravery, and how far she has come over the last year. ❤️

Here's a little bit more about Sadie!

My job at the Lodge: My job is to help teach new, scared dogs that this place is all about fun! When I first came here I was scared too, so I go out of my way to interact with the dogs that aren't too sure what to think of it all!

My favorite coworker: My favorite coworker is Baxter H. He likes to pretend that he's this big tough guy, but around me he's actually just a big softie!

My favorite game: My favorite game is about persistence. I will do my play bow as many times as it takes to get the other dog to play with me.

Fun fact: I have the most perfect dog bark of all time! I sound like those puppy toys that you would get for your kids. :)
