Our adorable boy started his heartworm treatment today, and we couldn’t do it without his amazing foster mom, Katie! A huge thank you to her for getting him to his injection appointments and making sure he stays calm, safe, and loved during this journey.

Michael’s foster family has been his lifeline during his recovery and rehabilitation. They’ve cared for Michael since last June; now it’s time for his next chapter.

We are looking for a dedicated foster home or adoptive home for Michael. If you’ve followed his story, you know this boy has been through a lot, and we are very protective of him.

If so, you might recognize Jubal—our Mr. January!

Yesterday, Jubal and his mom, Frankie, made history at the International Women’s Day Parade! Frankie was the oldest participant, and Jubal proudly stood out as the only dog in attendance!

We love seeing our AGSDR ambassadors out in the community, showcasing the intelligence, loyalty, and heart of German Shepherds. Way to go, Frankie & Jubal!

Meet Michael! 🐶💙

When he arrived, he was fighting for his life and severely underweight at 34 lbs. Thanks to the love and care of his foster family, our veterinary partners, and the support of our community, he’s now a healthy 58.9 lbs with a shiny, soft coat and is ready for his forever family! ✨

Michael is one of 16 shepherds currently in our care, and we can’t do this without you!

They raced through the crisp air, played, and enjoyed the rare break from the Texas heat. ☃️ Quincy’s personality is shining as he continues to thrive in foster care—happy, playful, and full of life. It’s moments like these that remind us how much these pups deserve a loving forever home. 🏡♥️
