The full moon lit up the night sky this weekend over Hidden Pond Stables. This moon is called the Cold Moon by the Native Americans due to the cold winter nights. The next time we will experience a full moon is January 13th, also known as the Wolf Moon. This is because wolves are more active in the dead of winter and howl more than usual in January.

At HPS we have been blessed to work with and own many amazing horses. Yesterday on national day of the horse we said good bye to our Packer. To say he was special is a true understatement . He has been a hiddenponder for over 20 years. There is nothing this horse has not done for us.
