Here are the speed patterns for the September Fun Show. Through and Over Pattern, Burn and Turn, and Barrel Bending. Please share these with your kiddos that are planning to ride.
As well, the Showmanship and Ranch Trail patterns will be posted this week.
Along with the Walk/Trot class, we will also introduce a Walk/Trot/Canter class.

We have all heard the story of the sweet girl Pearl Hartley and the tragedy that has happened. We would like to make the trail ride on September 1st @ John Alva Fuson Conservation Area a benefit ride for her and the family. If you would like to donate to the family, please see me out on the trail or message me if you are unable to make it and would like to donate.

Wow, I thought I posted this last week and it never did. So here it is now!
I want to give a huge shout out and thank you to our 2024
Sponsor, The Family Chiropractor in Mansfield. Not only did they sponsor our club for the year, but they gave an extra donation to sponsor our Summer Youth Camp. With the donation, we were able to purchase all of our camper kids a t-shirt and provide them a snack. We appreciate their contribution to our club and to be able to bring the opportunity of summer camp to our community.
If you are around town, please stop in and tell them thank you for their support. And while your there...ask for an adjustment!

Hello parents. Please help make sure your kiddos know both the Barrel and Pole Bending patterns before the show this Saturday. We realize this is a learning club and will always be willing to lead them through, however it can be frustrating for your child when they don't know the patterns. Postponing event due to the heat and possibility of rain. This event will be more enjoyable when the temperatures aren't as hot as they have been. Look for a new date sometime in September.

Hey , Reminder that our rain out reschedule date for our June Fun Show is this Saturday June 22nd at 6:30pm. With the temperatures warming up, we have decided to push our start time back to 6:30pm. Gates will open at 5:30pm.
We will start with our Showmanship Class and move into our Ranch Riding Class. Trail Challenge will start shortly after, with speed events.
We would like to invite you all out to participate in our Fun Show and hope to see you there!

Show cancelled for tonight!
my optimistic thinking wasn't enough for tonight. Although the weather looks to be holding out, Shane Savoy went out there to drag the arena this morning and it's a wash. We were hoping to do the trail challenge but again the soft grounds might make it hard for trailers to get in and out. Everyone please stay safe tonight and we will see you all on June 22nd for our rain date.
Hey everyone, We are watching the forecast closely and it looks like the rain is going to hold off until later this evening. The temps look like they will be mild and the sun is even peaking here.
Come out and join us this evening for our Fun Show! Show starts at 5pm, gates open at 3:30pm. We will have concessions available.
We have been discussing the chance of modifying our show bill to make sure we are finished and homebound before rain does come in. (Modified Show Bill - Pole Bending and Ranch Riding would be removed)

Showmanship/Halter class lesson day! Saturday June 1st!
Mansfield Equine Club’s June 8th show will be adding a showmanship/halter class! If you just asked “what the heck does that mean?”, are new to the show world, or just wanting to have a refresher/prep day for upcoming shows then sign on up! I have over 20 years of experience in the show world (non-gaited), both English riding and Western riding disciplines, and have taken several students all the way up to state and national shows! I will be offering several lesson times throughout the day with up to 3 students (ages 8+) in each class. We will go over the format and expectations of riders and horses in show, what the classes are and how to do each class successfully, and brush everyone up on show etiquette! $20 per student/horse combo. Lesson times as follows:
10 am :
12 pm : (FULL) Lacey Otto , Halaina, Abigail
4 pm : Addi, Emma
6 pm:
8 pm:
Each lesson will be roughly an hour and a half long, please be early and groomed/tacked up at your lesson start time! Message me to sign up for a time!

Our next show - June 8th
We have added a halter class for this show. Please notice that we have beginner and intermediate groups. This will allow our new riders a chance to gain knowledge in this event class.
We are working on re-doing the Trail Challenge course and will send out the pattern once completed.
