-Never leave your pet unattended in a car
-When hot/humid, keep your pet’s time outdoors limited ​
-Keep your pet hydrated​
-Ensure your pet has ventilation and a cool environment​
-Dogs with short noses are at higher risk due to their condensed facial anatomy and restricted ability to cool themselves​
-If any signs of heat stroke appear, contact our team immediately. ​

Accumulated from excessive grooming, hairballs can build in your cat’s digestive system and either get coughed up or in some cases, need surgical removal.

Pistachio, the MAC mascot, likes to act like we don't feed him 😆. He goes up to the tank to say "Hello!" to everyone who walks by but also in the hopes of getting a little snack from other humans. Here is definitive proof he gets fed! Pistachio should be eating his leafy greens, but we give him a mixture of meal worms and shrimp. If you turn up the volume, you can hear him make "swiping" noises 🔊

Hospital Highlight! This is Leo. Leo is our first chinchilla of the year! Hurray!🎊 He came in for an exam and then for a dental surgery. Leo is a complete rascal and already had a escape plan set up when the MAC staff placed him on the table. 😂

The MAC clinic welcomes it's newest staff member, Pistachio!🐢 His hobbies are eating, following people around to be fed, and waiting to eat. 🦗🐛🥗 Pistacio's living his reptilian life to the fullest.

We welcome the newest addition to the MAC family, Pistachio 🐢 Pistachio's family no longer had the means to care for him and was surrendered to us. Now, he's living his fullest reptilian life in his brand new home. Pistachio's favorite things to do is eat, dig at the rocks, and follow you around waiting to be fed 😆.
