Please help us welcome Dr. Kevin Stehn to the Country Club Veterinary team! šŸŽ‰šŸŽ‰

Dr. Kevin Stehn attended high school in Mesquite and graduated from Texas A&M in 2001 before beginning practice in Cedar Hill. From 2006 to 2018, he practiced mixed animal medicine in Cleburne. With a special interest in small animal care, he has since been practicing in the Mansfield area. Residing in Joshua with his wife, Dr. Stehn enjoys spending his free time riding his Harley or working on hot rods.

This is a video of larval heartworms (microfilaria) under a microscope. We look at a drop of blood to check for these guys every time we are worried about heartworm disease. If we see them, it means there are adult heartworms in the heart, and these are the babies circulating in the blood stream, waiting to be picked up by a mosquito to complete their life cycle.
