Reflecting on the dedication and commitment required to nurture and sustain a thriving group of dogs, many often remark, "You have to truly love it." However, the exact meaning of "it" in this context often remains elusive.

With a quarter-century of personal experience in the care and preservation of my furry friends, I've come to understand what "it" actually represents. The "it" refers to the duties that come with the task. It's not something everyone is designed for. Many may misinterpret it as a pursuit of wealth, recognition, external validation, or fame. But there will be countless days when it's just you, divine intervention, and your dogs. You'll find no help in sight, no one assisting with the procurement of food or medication, and no company during the odd hours of the night or early morning when puppies are due, or when critters have intruded into your dog's space.

You must harbor a passion for uplifting the breed. You should take pride in the fact that your daily attention is pivotal for these animals' survival. The motivation in this cycle of canine care isn't the allure of financial gains, but the profound realization that your tender care ensures the lives of these creatures.

It truly offers an insightful glimpse into God's nurturing care for us. Without Him, we too would wither away. He continues to care for us every day, even when we fail to recognize His love.

As you read this message, I hope you take to heart the profound words from John 3:16: "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." I extend my prayers to all the readers, hoping you remember this.
