Found Friday, I think, near Mifflin, OH, basically a walking skeleton. Believe it or not, this is after we cleaned him up quite a bit. Our vet gave him a poor prognosis. **** Sadly, this poor soul passed away. He was a very old cat in end-stage kidney failure. It looks like he has been struggling for quite a while. At least we were able to give him love, warmth and comfort in his final days.

Update: Sally is being adopted Thursday! God is good! ***** This beautiful girl Sally is dreaming of a home for Christmas. In the meantime, she knows our shelter needs canned beef, rolled oats, Ge**er baby cereal (probiotic blend), half pint of black semi-gloss paint, Mr. Clean liquid.

Update: Sadly, this poor boy passed away despite our best efforts. ***** Found lying on Bollinger Rd. near Rt, 13, Bellville, OH, area, apparently hit by a car. He still has feeling in his back legs but I'm fairly certain his tail is broken. Already consulted vet. If he makes it through the night, I will try to get x-rays in the morning. For now he is warm, safe and reasonably comfortable. Sometimes that's the best I can do.

We still don't have our beautiful Bengal cat back. To the lowlife person/people who stole her: We had her on the list for a dental cleaning in January. Her leukemia/distemper booster is due January 20th. She will be 16 in August. You better be giving her boneless chicken as a daily treat (must be slightly warmed and don't even try to give her dark meat).

UPDATE: Foster fail! The foster family has fallen in love! **** We took in a sweet baby girl who is missing 1 1/2 legs and part of her tail. So adorable. Calling this one Pancake. For "Wish List Wednesday" we need 13 gallon garbage bags, white vinegar, Liquid Nails adhesive.

Love Siamese babies. This one was rescued from a cold barn. She climbs up my leg and back, perches on my shoulder, snuggles under my neck and purrs ever so nicely.
