We have had a mild winter so far in North Central Ohio. February 2nd and the girls are liking the Pollen substitute. If you have Candy boards on your hives now is a good time to take a peek and see if you need to add sugar. If so lay a single ply of news paper or tissue paper on top of remaining sugar and pour dry granulated sugar right on top of the paper.
