What a great morning at Hasbrook Horses!
There’s just something special about watching kids and horses together — pure joy on both sides. The kids loved brushing, feeding, and riding the horses, and the horses soaked up every bit of attention (and of course, were always on the lookout for snacks!).

Adults joined in, too, and had just as much fun — because there’s nothing quite like standing next to a gentle giant and feeling that calm connection.

If you missed it, don’t worry! Hasbrook Horses will be hosting additional open houses throughout the year. It’s the perfect chance to come out, meet the herd, and experience the peace and happiness that only horses can bring.

Have you or someone you know been thinking about learning about horses or how to ride? Our October meet and greet is scheduled and this is a perfect opportunity to see if its the right fit for you. You'll schedule a 30 min time slot where you'll have time to brush the horses, give treats and even ride for 10 min. Please reach out to me, Ashley, to get scheduled or if you have any questions. $20 per participant. ALL AGES WELCOMED.

As some of you may know, Fancy, my 2 month old (Sid's filly) got kicked in the jaw the other day. She sustained significant injuries to her jaw and is currently in surgery.

Many of you have reached out asking how she’s doing—and we’re so grateful for the love and concern. We’ll keep you updated on her progress as we learn more.

Sid, Fancy’s mama, is at the vet clinic with her—offering comfort, emotional support, and of course, staying close so Fancy can continue to nurse. We know how important that connection is, especially during a time like this.

Several kind souls have asked how they can help or donate toward Fancy’s recovery and ongoing care. We’re not asking for donations, but we are making it easy for anyone who feels led to support her journey. Every bit helps and is deeply appreciated.

Update 7pm 7/2/25
Fancy made it out of surgery! She is back with mom. The vets had prepared me for the worst since foals dont handle anesthesia well. Peak Performance in Granbury did a great job and had to put wires in to tie the jaw back together. We have a long road of recovery since bone infection is what we are trying to fight but she is awake and back with mom!!! 😁😁 Sid the mom had to have a tooth pulled as well while we where there that was split in half and had infection. These poor girls should feel alot better soon. They will have to stay until at least Monday since Fancy is on IV antibiotics.

We loved having Eric out to try his new lense. You're welcome out anytime. Love to see photos of my horses and students...
