This girl can do it all! 2’6-3ft. Hunter, jumper, Eq, eventing, etc! She has good movement and a cute jump. Great flying lead change. Always jumps and never looks. Comfortable ride! She is a fun ride! Goes in a snaffle but forward thinking so needs someone who likes to woah more than push. She is so fun!

PSJ hosted a very well run, friendly, and fun show this past weekend!
LOTS of new pairs this year getting out for the first time along with sale horses and greenies!

McKenna Maxwell & Positevly True competed at the 1m for the first time!

Cora Kelly and Goes Like This competed in the 2’6 and won 3rd in the hack!

Scarlett Kelly competed on Louisa for the first time in crossrails and won the hack!

Nova Toney took Simply Sweet around for the first time at a show!

Bailey Sides and Alice in Wonderland competed for the first time together and won Reserve Champion!

Ariadne Turlington and her new lease with R’ Lucky landed them a 4th & 6th in the Short Stirrup competitive group.

Victoria Mangold took both of her boys! Done It was clear in the .80 each day and Another Step moved up to the .80 on Sunday!

Saylor Berry and Briar Rose stayed in the top of the hacks & Eq classes!

Cade Pearson and Corleone marched around the 3ft with ease. Cade also showed sale horses DeDe in the hunters & jumpers!

Sabrina Cagles’ Cali RedWoods won Champion in the 2’3 & 2’6 hunters winning nearly every class!

Young sale horse Oliver also won Champion in 2’3 hunters on Sunday!

Young jumper Polly had her first outing and popped around the small jumper classes with ease!

Sale horse Delilah was delightful all weekend winning 2nd in a large hack and cantered around the crossrails perfectly!

All 15 horse and riders had a great first show of 2025!!

2024 SSF horse of the year goes to Superstition aka Sky!
He has done so much for so many riders this year. He started 24’ with Sam Malek at WEC wrapping up her lease with him. He helped Macee Wyatt compete in the .80s for the first time and they won every class! He and Anna Gresham qualified for GHJA finals and took home 2nd place. He and Anna also competed in some 1m together and a Taylor Harris class!

This horse never says no, LOVES his job, and is legendary here at SSF. He is one in a million and this year he stepped up to the plate for so many with his ears perked and ready. Blue is his favorite color. 💙 🏆

Equally as thankful for his owners and their selflessness to share him with us.

Delilah is working great on the flat and going over small jumps. She is friendly in pasture and has good stall manners. She loads, ties, bathes, etc very easily. She has a good brain and is best when in a program! The more you ride her the better she is! Safe no buck, rear, run away, etc. A young teen could put many miles on her!!

We had a very large group of horse and riders go to Tryon last weekend! Many of their first time to Tryon! Thankful we beat the rain.

Several top ribbons earned and clean blue ribbon rounds for the jumpers!!

Done It and Victoria Mangold won 2nd in a .80 round. Their first time in the stadium!

Scarlett Kelly and Drury Lane were clear all week in the .65 and earned a 3rd in an undersaddle! The stadium was no challenge to this small pony!

Landon Dunn and Brownlands Blessing earned a 4th & 5th in hunter and clear in the .65!

Mazey Johnson & Southern Charm were 3rd and 4th over fences!

Ariadne Turlington placed in several classes, 6th in a large flat, and got nearly all her lead changes with Simply Sweet!

Jaquar and Ashley Peters won 1.10m speed and 1.15m speed!

Hannah Christian and Easy Nice Du Park competed at the 1m for the 2nd time together earning a 2nd also clear in the .90!

Cade Pearson and Corelone were Champion 3’ Children’s Hunters winning 3 of 5 classes and 2nd in the remainder! They also received 10th in the National Derby!

Cade Pearson and Calimero also won several 4th place ribbons in the 2’6!

Cora Kelly and Goes Like This competed in the 2’6 for the first time in Tryon and won a 4th in the hack of USHJA. Building blocks!

Mckenna Maxwell and Positively True were clean in the .80 and moved up to the .90 with ease!

Saylor Berry and Briar Rose had great rounds in the 2’6 and gorgeous flatwork!

Enlightened Equestrians Olivia Roberts got to tag along and competed in the 1m with her wonderful horse Theo! So glad they could tag along and put in great rounds winning Reserve Champion!

High Point hosted a great AAHJA show this past Saturday. The benefit derby for their IEA team had a great turn out!

Goes Like This and Ashley Peters won the derby! He also won both jumping and flat in the Open receiving Champion with a clean sweep!

Victoria Mangold and Another Step received 4th in the derby!

Saylor Berry and Briar Rose won 5th in the derby! Also winning the Eq over fences for a Champion in the Eq!

Ariadne Turlington and Simply Sweet won Champion in both the Short Stirrup hunters and Eq!!

Bailey Sides and Oz Walks on Wind competed for the first time together winning Champion in the Jr. beginner!

Nova Toney has several 2nd and 3rds with Alice in Wonderland in the mini hunter out of a large group!

Sabrina Cagles, Cali, competed for the first time and caught a lot of attention!

Horses & riders dominated! 🏆 here are some results 🥰

Aubree Ballard and Magic Carpet Ride 3X Champions this weekend winning all 3 hacks and moving up to the 2’3!

Addison Butler and Sunkist right behind them with Reserve Champion!

Ariadne Turlington and Simply Sweet winning the Eq flat and 2nd in Hunters! Along with several other great placings and lead changes on course.

Nova Toney and Alice in Wonderland were Novice Champions Sat and Reserve Champions Sun!

Braylee Landreth and Oz Walks On Wind were Novice Reserve Champions Sat and Champions Sunday!

Saylor Berry and Briar Rose won 2nd in the Classic and Champion in pre ch winning both jump rounds and the hack!

Victoria Mangold and Done It moved up to the .85&.90!

Mazey Johnson got to show two horses. Southern Charm was SS Hunter Champion & sale horse Rico took her around her first jumper courses winning all 3rd places!

Sale horse Calimero won 3 of his 4 rounds in the open hunter winning Champion! Also winning the GHJA Eq Challenge flat with Anna Gresham!

Goes Like This worked his way around more 2’6 rounds and winning the hack!

Week 2 of Aiken was a breath of fresh air. Relaxing and got to just enjoy horse showing!!

Hannah Christian and Easy Nice Du Park moved up to the 1m and won 2nd in the Classic!

Anna Gresham and Superstition put in competitive rounds in the 1m and were clean all weekend! Huge thank you to Savannah and Beth Hall for the use of this amazing creature! He oozes confidence out of his riders!!

Ashley and Jaquar marched around the 1.10m with ease and won a class! Moving on up!
