💥Rainey graduated from rehab yesterday💥
She won’t be running around or playing just yet. Home rehab will continue a few days a week, along with red light therapy & regular walks. She will also continue to have regular chiropractic adjustments at Back in Motion.

This sweet girl was with us for 12 weeks of rehab. We love her and she loves us, but she wasn’t thrilled with us for the hat 🤣 Happy graduation day!

Today is rehab day for Rainey. She’s been doing cavalettis at home every day for the last week. Hoping this, along with the other things we have been doing daily, has made a difference and that I can add some more activity (specifically outdoor walks) into her daily routine. 🤞🏼🐾❤️

I learn something new from these little girls every time they stay with me. This time I learned they will tell me when they are ready to eat (and it is NEVER at the same time! 🤣🤣🤣)

Lots of boarding requests the last several days. Boarding is on a dog by dog case right now because of Rainey & I am really trying not to have multiple boarders at once.

I think because I don’t update on Rainey, people assume she’s fine. I wish that was the case. She was doing great, making huge progress, and then she injured herself again.
I think that was my last update (resharing)

Rainey can’t run around & play. She is basically on enforced rest again. Try telling a dog they can’t play with a dog they would usually play with. It’s her house so I can’t just throw her in a crate and call it a day.

That being said, I am restricted to who I can and cannot take right now. Most of the dogs I am sitting now are still from reservations made before the injury and a couple I took assuming Rainey would be back to herself by now. I’m not canceling anyone (that’s not how I operate) but I certainly can’t take on any more. Besides going to rehab once a week, I do A LOT of therapy here at home. When I have too many dogs at once, it’s just too difficult. Ken helps when he can, but he does work a full time job and that comes first.
