After careful consideration, Iโ€™ve decided to reduce the number of in-home dog-sitting bookings I accept. While Iโ€™m still available for your requested dates when possible, I will no longer be overbooking. In the past, Iโ€™ve strived to accommodate everyone, but with Rainey getting older and requiring more attention, and Ken now working from home 100% of the time, itโ€™s become challenging to maintain the same level of service.

I currently have a couple of existing commitments where overbooking may occur, but moving forward, I will be adhering to this new approach.

Rainey had her appointment on Tuesday, and overall, it went well! She is around 85-90% better at this time. No x-ray was done this visit, but vet says the stifle feels real good. The best newsโ€”no additional muscle loss since her last prolotherapy injections! She did get a chiropractic adjustment on Tuesday.

She will go through another round of prolotherapy in a couple weeks. She will most probably have an x-ray at that time as well just to check on the arthritis progression.

For now, sheโ€™s feeling good and will continue her walks as a form of therapy! Thanks for all the love and support for my sweet girl! I will be away for the next couple of weeks but will update again towards the end of the month.

โค๏ธ๐ŸพRainey Update๐Ÿพโค๏ธ

Rainey had a round of prolotherapy on January 7. Since then, weโ€™ve had some good days and also bad days. Her next appointment on February 4 will be a big one, as it will help determine where we are with her treatment. Chances are sheโ€™ll have an X-ray to assess progress.

If the prolotherapy is working, she may continue with additional rounds. However, thereโ€™s also a slight chance that surgery could be needed. If surgery becomes necessary, adjustments will need to be made to my availability, but Iโ€™ll cross that bridge if and when we get to it.

With Raineyโ€™s current situation and the fact that I will be away for a couple of weeks in February, I will not be available for bookings through the end of February. Pending Raineyโ€™s appointment on February 4, I will provide more updates as I know them.

Itโ€™s been a while since Iโ€™ve posted one of these. This is from Friday 12/27 with Misty, Pippi, Tydus, Tinsley, Zoey & Rainey. It was a nonstop day!

Good Morning & Happy ThursDay! Iโ€™ve been in a slump when it comes to taking photos this week. Itโ€™s been a while since Iโ€™ve shared a video from my Furbo camera so here goes from yesterday. I ended the day with giving Tinsley a medicated bath (in the kitchen sink) in an effort to give her some relief with her allergies. ๐Ÿพโค๏ธ (there is no sound)

For as long as I can remember, I have always had a dog in my life in one aspect or another. I have cared for neighbors' dogs, relatives' dogs and, of course, my own dogs. I have cared for dogs of all ages, from puppies to seniors. I LOVE DOGS! I promise to treat your fur kid just like I treat my own, who is quite spoiled! I am pet first aid and CPR certified.
