We just want to give a heartfelt THANK YOU to all of those folks that have reached out (and continue to reach out) and left us words of comfort and support after seeing our post about BC yesterday. We appreciate you all so much.

With incredibly heavy hearts (and lots of tears), we euthanized our office cat B.C. yesterday. B.C. (jokingly short for "Bad Cat") had a large mass in her lungs, and we knew the day was coming when we would have to say goodbye.
She was a spicy girl who loved cheese, churro treats, and playing with feathers. She loved laying in the warm sunshine and going outside to try to munch on our plants.
She was so incredibly loved by staff, and if love alone could have saved her, she would still be with us. 💔 We will miss her so much.

We have some exciting news!!!

Please join us in welcoming Dr. Wisdom to our team!

Dr. Maya Wisdom grew up here in Mansfield. She graduated from The Ohio State University in 2017 with a Bachelors of Science in Animal Science. She then graduated in the same class as Dr. Alyssa from Lincoln Memorial University in 2021 with a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. After vet school, she completed a 1 year internship program at Equine Specialty Hospital before returning back to small animal medicine.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, gardening, and raising and showing her horses.

We are thrilled to have her here at Phillips Animal Hospital. She will begin seeing patients November 4th. ❤️🐾❤️🐾❤️🐾

Have you ever seen a Bear🐻 in a tiger🐯 costume?!? Well, this is Bear, the kitty, and his momma stopped to visit and show us his adorable little costume. We love to see all the babies in costumes so don't hesitate to swing by (the lobby is usually pretty clear between 1-2)and say hi or send us pics!
