🍁🍽️🦃 Happy Thanksgiving🦃🍽️🍁

This year I feel a little extra grateful. We had a really tough year, when in the early spring, both Scotty and Phantom needed emergency colic surgery to save their lives. Now, 7 months later, they are back in the program, and happily teaching our riders again with all the patience and kindness as ever. None of this would have been possible without our tight knit faRmily, who stepped up to the plate big time, and the greater horse community- so many people I’ve never even met, who reached out and wanted to help, as well as the teams of vets at Ocean State and Tufts who did the things that needed to be done. I am so grateful. I’m overwhelmed at times with gratitude for the kindness we saw, as well as the health of the ponies now. It gives me hope that this little bubble of kindness can extend further, and that we as humans can be more kind and more compassionate to one another.
I am so grateful that I’ve gotten to spend more time with my family this year, and in doing so, we’ve made some pretty special memories together.
And none of this would have been possible without our dream team of .a.shupe, , and . You are incredible and I’m lucky (massive understatement) to have you 💜.
I am so grateful for every family that comes through our doors - you make us who we are. Thank you!!

Fall Showcase 2024!
Our day wouldn’t be complete without our Awesome Adults!! Shoutout to these wonderful women who bring so much joy and laughter to our barn faRmily. As a mom, it always makes me happy when Moms take time for themselves, to do something that is meaningful to them. Great job!!

We had such a wonderful Fall Showcase Day, made even more special because Scotty and Phantom were with us. Our Spring Showcase has to be postponed back in April after they both needed life saving colic surgery, and we were finally able to put ask the pieces together on Sunday. I got a little choked up watching our riders show off all of the skills they have acquired over the last year (since the last Showcase), and it was a wonderful day for everyone!! Thank you to all of the families and friends who came and watched, and to our riders who were so patient in waiting for the rescheduled date. Thank you to .a.shupe & for doing the things you do to make it such a smooth and great day, and to all of our Pony Pals who popped in to help!! You kept us running like a well oiled machine!
We look forward to the next one in the spring! Videos to follow…

On the short list of things that will get me up at 3am: bringing .a.shupe & her Unlock The Magic to clinic with 4 time Olympic Event Rider Boyd Martin, and getting to audit and play jump crew. Great job today, Kristen!! It was so much fun to watch!

These two sparkling clean water buckets might not look like much, but to me, and to the horses, they are everything. I am so grateful that I never have to worry that the horses will have clean, fresh water to drink because our Dream Team cares as much as they do about the details. I am so grateful for that peace of mind, and for .a.shupe & . I know I say it frequently, but it can be never said too much. Thank you both for all you do!!

Highlights from our Short Stirrup crew! They all had a great day!

Our show team had a great day at South Coast to finish out our 2024 season!
💜 Sienna finally got her chance to show our Glynhafan Biscotti, and got to do it stepping up to the short stirrup for the first time! She did a phenomenal job, bringing home ribbons in every class!
💜 Cassidy & our Nashville had some of their smoothest rounds yet in the short stirrup, with a 3rd and 4th over fences and a 2nd & 4th on the flat!
💜 Julia teamed up again with Capstone Farm’s The Artist for a great outing in the Short Stirrup! They were 2nd over fences, 3rd in the flat, and more!
💜 Abby stepped up to the Short Stirrup with great success with Batteries Not Included! They were 1st & 2nd on the flat in a big, competitive group, with ribbons over fences too!
💜 Caitlin made her show debut with The Artist and rocked the Sr Walk Trot division! She showed him off beautifully and they were 1st, 2nd & 3rd!!
💜 Ari and our Batteries Not Included had a great day in the Jr Walk Trot, winning a 3rd & a pair of 4ths.
