Our show team had a great day at South Coast to finish out our 2024 season!
💜 Sienna finally got her chance to show our Glynhafan Biscotti, and got to do it stepping up to the short stirrup for the first time! She did a phenomenal job, bringing home ribbons in every class!
💜 Cassidy & our Nashville had some of their smoothest rounds yet in the short stirrup, with a 3rd and 4th over fences and a 2nd & 4th on the flat!
💜 Julia teamed up again with Capstone Farm’s The Artist for a great outing in the Short Stirrup! They were 2nd over fences, 3rd in the flat, and more!
💜 Abby stepped up to the Short Stirrup with great success with Batteries Not Included! They were 1st & 2nd on the flat in a big, competitive group, with ribbons over fences too!
💜 Caitlin made her show debut with The Artist and rocked the Sr Walk Trot division! She showed him off beautifully and they were 1st, 2nd & 3rd!!
💜 Ari and our Batteries Not Included had a great day in the Jr Walk Trot, winning a 3rd & a pair of 4ths.

KBC Rock N Acre
Rocco appreciation post… this incredible pony heads home after spending a year and a half with us. In that time he took Lora from the 2’ ring to her first 2’6 indoor equitation final, all with patience, kindness, and the guidance of a master teacher. We are happy that he is going home to his people who love him dearly, but we will miss him a heck of a lot. Thank you .eq for sharing him with us. He is truly a unicorn.

Congratulations to Lora on her first indoor equitation final!! She had a great experience and got very respectable scores in both her open round and MHC round. She has worked so hard all year to make it to this point, and I am so proud to stand at the in gate with her. And a huge shout out to Rocco, who has been an absolute rock star, and will be sorely missed as he heads home to Texas.

New helmet time!! It’s safety awareness week which means that many helmets and vests at most tack shops ( and included) are on sale! Helmets have a 5 year lifetime and expiration from manufacture date which is stamped somewhere inside the helmet (tag or interior shell). Now is a great time to replace your helmet, or buy one for your hair to fit under properly!!

Side Hustle Opening!!
In Mansfield, MA
We are looking for an experienced (18+) individual to work only two weekends a month. That means you get the other weekends to horseshow, travel, relax… all while having those weekends paid for when you work for us!
It’s a barn management job but without all the stall cleaning! (Just one very easy stall to clean).
Other tasks include feeding, turnout, setting up grain, helping kids groom and tack as needed, waters… It’s a physical animal care job so applicants must be able to lift 50lbs (grain bags and hay bales), and be prepared to walk and work in various weather conditions.
We are looking for someone *reliable*… if you plan to not show up to the interview I block off my time for, please don’t message me to begin with. If you show up when you say you will, please definitely reach out!! We are a positive, friendly group who love to laugh. come join our team!

We had such a fun week at Fieldstone to close out the season there!

✨ Ari & Batteries Not Included tackled their first A Circuit show and had a lot of fun doing the Walk Trot Poles. They took home two 2nds & a 3rd!

✨ Kristen & her own Unlock The Magic jumped around the 2’ to good ribbons in their best outing yet!

✨ Abby & Batteries Not Included showed just how far they’ve come this season - competing in the Crossrail division and taking home good ribbons, after starting the season in the Walk Trot!

✨ Sadie & her own Fernhill Inspiration had a great day, with 2nd & 3rd places in the 2’3, and they most consistent rounds yet!

✨ Lora and KBC Rock N Acre jumped a beautiful 2’6 Derby course with a first round score of 75, and finished just out of the ribbons. Their Children’s Pony Hunter and Eq rounds were lovely and they raked in some 3rds and 4ths.

All around it was such a joy to see just how far all of these riders have come since the start of our show season in May. Great job, everyone!!

After a year and a half long hiatus, my big kid got back in the tack and picked up somehow better than where he left off. He’s been waiting a long time to ride again and was so excited to get back on the horse. And it was doubly fun to have both my boys ride together! Thank you Hunter & Buzz for wearing your halos proudly.

Happy Tears 🥲

Crying happy tears over here, watching the videos of Scotty rejoining his herd for the first time since he had colic surgery at the end of March. It’s been 12 very long weeks of layup, and holding our collective breath to get to this point. Unlock the Magic

Now that’s what I’m talking about 👏🥳👏!!! When Galli showed up here 2 years ago, Kristen had big goals for him. The key to successfully training any horse is to dig through our rider tool bag and find the tools that work for and resonate with each individual horse. With the long term goal of doing the 3’ hunters, Galli needs to be able to be straight, go forward, come back, have smooth upright transitions, be soft and supple and accepting of the contact, and have confidence in himself and his pilot. With a focus on transitions as the best tool for suppling him, and thus opening to the door to all of the other pieces that make up the big picture, Galli is learning to sit and drive from behind. Today was a huge milestone- jumping a course (including some gates and boxes), completely relaxed and responsive. After each jump he came back, and reset to the right canter, and jumped around with confidence. In training horses, just like when a rider is first learning, the lessons can be tedious and slow. But that time taken to build an impenetrable foundation, piece by piece, pay dividends.
