This is Eli! Everyone say Hi to Eli! 🤗 this lovely young gentleman and some friends sold herbs from their garden and donated the proceeds to us! We are so very grateful for all animal lovers, all shapes and sizes ☺️

Our boy Dakota has had a big week! He had surgery and is now ready to recover. The one thing we are missing is a home he can do that in! We are in need of a foster home with no other pets or a home with an extra bedroom he can be in temporarily. Dakota is less than a year old and has been in our care since February. He has sadly grown up living in a cage with little interaction to other animals and has become so attached to our staff but we know with time and space he will be the perfect playful companion for someone. Becky Miniature Poodle in Need of Emergency C-Section! ❗️❗️🆘⚠️

As an open admission shelter sometimes we get animals with serious medical conditions. With the generous help of our supporters we are usually able to cover all the extra expenses. We were recently contacted by another Animal Control Facility that was in need of help while having to seize 20 Poodles from a puppy mill. While all of the dogs were in horrendous conditions one of the three we were able to help is currently on a medical hold at a local Veterinarian's office. After consultation with multiple Vet's we were given two options: sterilize and abort the puppies or put Becky through another (but last one!) C-section. Becky is a miniature poodle who is pregnant with two puppies that she can not deliver on her own due to her size. We are trying to ensure her safety while saving the puppies as well. With all of the animals in our care the cost for this procedure is not completely in our budget. If you are able please consider donating to Becky's medical fund. We believe we are making the right decision by choosing to save her and her two babies. If you are not in a position to donate please share on your social media!

6 very sweet puppies confused as to why they are still here 🥺 the reality is there are too many not spayed/neutered animals which end up being countless amounts of unwanted litters of puppies. Our sweet senior Bear went out on his very own adventure yesterday! Bear is 11 years old and was adopted from our care 9 years ago and was sadly surrendered back to us on July 2nd because his owner was going into an assisted living facility. Sadly Bear has had no interest with his age and having to be the only animal but we are keeping our fingers crossed that someone will choose to love him for the rest of his life and spoil him with endless toys. Please consider adopting a senior these are the days they will never forget 😭💙🦴🧸

Meet Tee and Tim 🦜🧡

These two cuties came into our care with the help of Animal Control. These sweet adults are looking for their furever home! Tee (grey with orange cheeks) and Tim (Gray and White) are a bonded pair and ready to find somewhere to retire 🥰 Their whole cage set up is also included in the adoption!

For those of you that may remember Chester or have been following his weight loss journey he is back at our shelter looking better than ever just waiting to find his forever home! We are so thankful for the foster who spent the last 5 months with him making sure he felt better and giving us more information. Chester is house trained, loves other animals, as super easy going!
