To my wonderfully and amazing wife- I stole your phone.
Happy birthday.
The years have gone by and for each and every page of the calendar that flips, you have done nothing more than carry yourself with unselfish grace, unblemished virtue, and a heart that cares and loves without comparison.
The world is by far a much better place with you in it, and I am easily, and profoundly, a much better man for you to be in my life...I shudder to think of what or who I would be without you.
Thank you for being the best mom in the world, thank you for being a tireless worker, thank you for loving your family without reserve, and thank you for loving me...I don't deserve you.
May today, and everyday, shine upon you and give you perfect blessings.

This sweet, puppy-loving boy has had numerous visits over the past few months. Today, we spent the day at U of M.…. I’ve been thinking a lot about mixed emotions lately… ♥️

Many of you have reached out to me privately and asked about Judah. I sure do appreciate the love and support of my Woodland Aussies & Doodles Family. Y’all are THE best. Truly. 😌

I know I’m wayyy overdue for an update on Judah’s health. But I have to be honest, most days I want to ignore what’s down the road and try to just absorb what’s in front of me. Maybe I’ve trained my brain to be “too present” in the moment… I’m not sure. 🫤

Anyway… I’m committing to writing a long sappy update on all of his “stuff” soon. Most days, it’s just too hard to put it all out there in black and white. And… 😔 It’s also good therapy for me and so encouraging to my heart to get support from those that want to walk through these trenches with our family. 🙏🏽

That being said, I understand why, for some people, being in the thick of things- when hearts are heavy and overwhelmed- is too much for them to handle. And that’s okay, too. I want each of us to be healthy- physically and emotionally. And it’s sometimes best to witness and support hard things from afar. 😌🙏🏽
